Multi-gen vacation
Our family just returned home after staying a week at Forest Lake Retreat. The cottage had lots of space for our multi generational vacation which included bedrooms for all adults and a “cousin bedroom” . There were lots of things to keep us busy. Room for outdoor games, swimming. Sandy, shallow entry for the kids. Bring water shoes (sand turns to rocks) a dock for out 2 boats. Kayaks and canoes. 2 fridges and lots of seating inside and out for everyone. Comfortable beds. The only draw back that we experienced from our stay here was the indoor water. There was not enough water/pressure to flush a toilet and then wash your hands. Though the cottage is equipped with a washing machine we didn’t attempt to use it because we didn’t believe it would be effective. Showers were sparse. I personally did not have one all week. In order to clean dishes after meals we had to fill pots throughout the day to insure we had enough water and warm it on the stove . Would have given 5 stars but the water was an issue for us. For a cottage that is meant to accommodate a large number of people this should be rectified
