A lovely getaway

My family with 2 young boys and my in-laws had a wonderful time at this unique cottage. We enjoyed fishing and swimming off of the dock. The location in a bay on a large lake is nice and quite as boats need to reduce speed to travel down the river. We loved the beautiful sunsets and bon fires by the lake while listening to loon calls. The weather wasn’t on our side for half of our stay so it was definitely a nice treat to have wifi to watch movies. We ventured to the local waterfall mentioned in the welcome guide and it’s well worth a visit. It’s stunning! A perfect getaway only 1.5 hrs from home. I would highly recommend Birch Haven.
