Welcome to Thunder Beach Treasure! Located just a short drive from Midland, Ontario, this beautiful vacation rental is a great getaway for families looking for a place to call home for an extended summer break.
The cottage features 3 bedrooms and a 3-piece bathroom on the upper level, providing plenty of space and privacy for everyone. The main level boasts a fully-equipped kitchen, a spacious living and dining area, and a walkout to the deck and waterfront - all with great views of Georgian Bay. Imagine sipping your morning coffee while watching the sail boats gather for a day on the water, or grilling up a delicious dinner on the BBQ while enjoying the afternoon sun.
The lower level of the cottage has twin beds (one with a trundle), as well as a 3-piece washroom with a shower. This space is perfect for kids or extra guests, and also includes a laundry room so your wardrobe stays fresh during your stay.
Thunder Beach offers a fantastic bay for swimming, boating, and all kinds of water activities. The local area is also home to many hiking and biking trails, as well as great fishing spots. The towns of Midland and Penetanguishene are just 15 minutes away and offer everything in the way of groceries, supplies and entertainment. Barrie and Orillia are both within an hour's drive if you feel the need to spend some city time. Whether you're looking for adventure or just want to relax and unwind, this cottage has something for everyone.

Waterfront
Sitting on the deck facing the spectacular early morning sunrises. With the water just 50 feet away you can see the beautiful bay of Thunder Beach. Access to walk the beach just 15-minute walk away. The water is crystal clear and off the end of the dock it is 7-10 feet to jump off. If you are one who likes to crawl into the water there is a ladder to shimmy down or a second ladder in the shallow area that is only 4 feet deep to a sandy bottom for easy entry.
Lounging on the dock or on the protected sun deck is a great place to suntan, nap or just read a book. The stone patio is a great place to sit at the table and have lunch and later that evening to nestle up to a bonfire and roast marshmallows.
