As you step inside, you'll be greeted by the warm ambiance of the cottage, complete with all the amenities needed for a relaxing stay. The interior exudes a big, comfortable sectional in the living/dining area, a 6-person table that can easily be extended, and a cute kitchen with everything you’d ever need for a week in Kawartha Lakes! Sunsets on Sturgeon Cottage is inviting you to unwind and embrace the laid-back pace of cottage life. With a bunkie providing additional sleeping space, there's ample room for everyone to enjoy a peaceful night's rest.
One of the highlights of Sunsets on Sturgeon Cottage is the refreshing cross breeze that flows through both bedrooms and the bunkie, ensuring comfortable sleeping conditions even on the hottest of summer nights. Wake up refreshed and ready to embrace the day, knowing that the serene beauty of Sturgeon Lake awaits just outside your door.
Venture outdoors to discover the breathtaking waterfront area, boasting an amazing flat lawn perfect for leisurely games of croquet or bocce ball, or picnics in the sun. With shallow, sandy/rocky entry for quite a ways into the lake, this is the ideal spot for families with young children or non-swimmers to still take a dip on vacation and enjoy all that lakefront cottaging has to offer.
Relax and soak up the sunshine on the expansive dock, where you can lounge in style on one of the many Muskoka chairs, and admire the stunning views of the shimmering waters stretching out before you. Savor your morning coffee on the comfortable sectional overlooking the lake, or gather around the campfire in the evening for a cozy bonfire experience under the starlit sky.
