Thank you for providing the opportunity to enjoy a long weekend at Sunnybank Cottage, which exceeded our expectations more than I can say! We, along with our family, have rented numerous vacation properties over the past 30 years and I only wanted to say how appreciative we were to find a rental property which felt more like we had borrowed a good friend’s home for a few days. Every possible comfort a guest might need was provided for. The kitchen was stocked with everything we could think of – and all in clean, and good condition. Sadly, this has not always been our experience and so we have learned to compensate by bringing many extras to have on hand. All unneeded this trip! If only we’d known how thorough your care and concern for your guests was! And the various booklets and signs posted throughout were extremely helpful, again highlighting an attitude of above and beyond hospitality that we were amazed to see. I would make one suggestion, and that is to provide a copy of the location map found in one of your informative booklets for anyone who has reserved a stay at Sunnybank. We did have difficulty finding the exact location and a map like that to have before hand would have been great. Other than that, there is nothing I would change about this amazing home. We enjoyed a special long weekend with our three grown children and their spouses to celebrate our milestone birthdays, and it was perfect. I do hope we will have the opportunity to return again in the near future. A delightful experience for all of us and will provide many hours of future reminisces among us. My stay at Sunnybank was nothing short of superb! It offered modern facilities, yet it was surrounded by the beauty of Muskoka hills and forests. I couldn’t recommend a better place for R & R.

They call it a cottage but its a beautiful really well built very large home in a very beautiful Muskoka setting. Great place for cooking but close to the town. Beautiful bedrooms with facilities. Lots of room to relax including a super large recreation room with juke box and large screen TV. You couldn’t ask for more. It was great!!

It is a lovely lake house situated in a beautiful part of Muskoka surrounded by nature’s wonders. Perfect for a big family or a group of friends with a total of 4 bedrooms and a big room on the third floor for a big group. Every bedroom is equipped with a bathroom. At the entrance, we are welcomed with a big living room and an open space kitchen. There is also a spacious recreation room in the lower level with many amenities including a movie room, pool table, and a jukebox that guests can play and dance to oldies. In the morning, we enjoyed sitting and watching from the screened in porch, the sunrise and local wildlife (birds, ducks, wild turkeys and deer). You can go for a swim, take a canoe around Mary Lake or explore the scenic Muskoka River. It’s also just a short drive to downtown Huntsville. The upper deck was a perfect place to gaze at the stars and constellations at night. It is a beautiful large home in a perfect Muskoka setting. A fantastic, relaxing experience!
