Overview ↑↓
Welcome to Shoreham Beechwood, a spacious lakeside retreat on beautiful Beech Lake in the heart of Halliburton. Just minutes from the intersection of Highways 35 and 118, this six-bedroom cottage offers peaceful waterfront living with convenient access to downtown Haliburton's shops, restaurants, and amenities. Sleeping up to 10 guests, it's an ideal getaway for family vacations or reunions with friends. Please note that the driveway is quite steep, so all-wheel drive or 4x4 is recommended, although two-wheel drive vehicles typically have no trouble during the summer months.
Inside, the fully equipped kitchen opens to the dining area, while the formal living room features a stunning wood-burning stone fireplace for cozy evenings together. Six comfortable bedrooms provide plenty of space for larger groups, with an additional two-piece bathroom and laundry facilities located upstairs. Starlink internet provides reliable high-speed Wi-Fi for streaming or remote work, though cell service is limited and Wi-Fi calling is recommended. (Please note: the dishwasher is scheduled for replacement in Aug. 2026. If a dishwasher is essential for your stay, please inquire before booking.)
Outside, enjoy the screened sunroom with peaceful lake views, a spacious deck with BBQ and outdoor dining, and a level lawn perfect for lawn games, relaxing in the hammock, or gathering around the campfire under the stars.
Approximately 15–20 steps lead to the waterfront, where a dock provides easy access for swimming, fishing, and boating. The shoreline features a shallow, sandy entry for about 15 feet before gradually deepening, making it enjoyable for all ages. Water levels naturally fluctuate throughout the season, so the small sandy beach may be limited early in the summer and more visible later in the season. Whether you're spending your days on the water or simply soaking in the peaceful surroundings, Shoreham Beechwood is the perfect Haliburton cottage escape.
