Tucked away near the end of a quiet cottage lane, River View Cottage & Cabin offers a peaceful retreat for families or couples looking to slow down and soak up cottage country life. Located on the beautiful Burnt River and just a short drive from the charming town of Fenelon Falls, with many shops and restaurants and lift locks and a beach, this hidden gem combines the charm of traditional cottage life with the comfort of thoughtful upgrades and modern touches.
The main cottage is warm and inviting, with three cozy bedrooms and one and a half bathrooms. The primary bedroom features a king bed and its own private balcony—an ideal place to sneak away with a morning coffee or enjoy a quiet moment at sunset. On the main floor, you'll find a queen bedroom, while the upstairs guest room includes a double bed and a single—perfect for kids or friends. A separate, rustic-style cabin on the property adds even more charm, offering a quiet escape for reading, meditation, or an afternoon nap.
But the real magic of River View Cottage & Cabin lies outdoors. Spend your days lounging on the upper deck while something delicious sizzles on the BBQ, or wander down to the river’s edge where a spacious screened gazebo awaits. Dine alfresco at the fire table with seating for six, and treat your crew to homemade creations straight from the wood-fired pizza oven. A cozy sectional nearby overlooks the river—perfect for morning coffee or evening cocktails under the stars.
As the sun dips low, gather around the large fire pit encircled by classic red Adirondack chairs and share stories beneath the night sky. Whether you're jumping off the dock into the cool river water, paddling downstream, or simply relaxing with a book in hand, River View Cottage & Cabin offers the kind of getaway that fills your cup and lingers in your memory long after you've left.
