We are regular renters with CLRM and I think we’ve found our all time favorite cottage. We’ve always gone to different rentals before for a new adventure each time, but now I’m wanting to go back to Paradise in the Woods! The cottage provides everything you could want in a cottage, clean, cozy, beautiful, amazing swimming, quiet, private, nice hot tub, great views, fun games room, movie collection, good fishing for kids…I miss it already! I loved swimming in the lake and kayaking around the lake. We really enjoyed our week stay. The painting wooden tree project was a nice personal and memorable touch! Everything was great here and the owners are very friendly and helpful and take great care of the place. Highly recommend! But leave us a spot for next summer! 😉

Amazing week spent at this luxurious cottage. It truly is paradise in the woods. The owners thought of everything to keep everyone busy as there was never a dull moment. The views everyday from the deck were stunning. We would definitely recommend you book a week at this Haliburton retreat.

We can’t say enough about how amazing this property is. Between the perfect dock, games room, fully stocked kitchen, hot tub, paddle boards etc, we couldn’t have had a more enjoyable week. The amenities truly make it a perfect balance between relaxation and fun! The owners welcomed us with many personal touches and were easily accessible to answer any questions that we had. We would highly recommend this cottage to anyone!

This was a very relaxing family friendly property. I would recommend this property as a family vacation spot anytime of the year. Plenty of things to do even on a rainy day.

Loved this place! All the comforts of home. Clean and very private lot. Would love to visit during warmer weather to enjoy the beautiful calm lake. The leaves were turning when we visited and it was so beautiful. My husband and I have been renting cottages for over 30 years and this cottage is was one of best! Thank you. I intend to rent again but seems it is such a good spot it books up quickly!

Excellent cottage, perfect for all seasons of rentals. It’s a very well-kept, beautifully renovated cottage, is designed with guests’ comfort in mind. Thoughtful touches such as the 2 fridges, both in the kitchen, TVs in every bedroom, the hot tub, a dock large enough to seat everyone in comfort lakeside, and the large deck with multiple seating areas and even choice of shade (with ceiling fan) and sun locations, made this cottage vacation very luxurious. It’s in a beautifully quiet area, great if you like to feel like you’re “away from it all”, yet you’re only 5 minutes to the nearest store, and 25 minutes to Haliburton Village. The lake is motor-free, so there are no noisy and annoying motorboats to interfere with the peace and quiet. We enjoyed walking along the quiet country roads with our dog as well.
