Our 1st time here. Cottage is very well stocked with everything for a great week away. Saw beavers, osprey, blue heron all from the river front. Think this would be a perfect Fall rental location. Picturesque location, and cosy for 6 people.

Really enjoyed this property. Caught some fish right off the dock. Nice and private. Pet friendly, wifi and hot tub. What else can you ask for? Simple and spacious layout inside the cottage with high ceilings, and lots of ceiling fans to keep everyone feeling fresh. Thank you for sharing this special place.

This place is great! This was our second trip to this cottage – the first time we stayed here was 10 years ago and it left such a good impression that we came back 10 years later! The house is well stocked with essentials and the layout of the space is perfect for hanging out together. The hot tub is clean and new. The only thing that kept this from being a perfect vacation were the gypsy moth caterpillars. The infestation is totally out of anyone’s control so it’s not the fault of the owners or cottage management. Just be prepared to do a lot of caterpillar sweeping.

We have been returning guests to the Osprey since 2009. This would be our 5th visit :). We noticed a few changes since Phil and Heather have passed the torch and all were positive. This weekend was simply a couples getaway…We left the kids at home :). The fall is most def the best time to visit and we will be back in 2017. Our time here was more needed than you know and we took full advantage and enjoyed every minute. The heron spent every day filling his belly at the rapids…a beautiful site and great pics! We had a splendid two weeks of paradise at Osprey Cottage. Thank you so much for continuing in the great tradition of Phil and Heather Bayer. We enjoyed the hummingbirds, the minks, the flock of Canada geese that came up on shore to feed. The herons stalked the frogs and we saw a family of merganser ducks go down river. Monty and Zeke loved laying on the deck in the sun and Monty had a great time playing ball in the water. The weather was astounding! Many thanks for sharing this special place. We have made exquisite memories.

What a great week! Our crew really enjoyed your beautiful cottage. We had an amazing time using the paddle boat and canoe. The weather couldn’t have been any better. We all enjoyed a relaxing bonfire and the wonderful hot tub. Highlights include watching National Lampoon’s Vacation movie (Thank You!). Watch out for the family of raccoons living next door. The babies are super cute!

Thank you so much for sharing your little piece of paradise with us. There is not enough room here to write about all the things we enjoyed. We were amazed at the diversity of wildlife here. We saw deer, fox otter, beaver, heron, osprey and HUGE turtles. One turtle was busy digging holes in your parking area. We filled them back in as best we could. We enjoyed kayaking and boarding. My mother-in-law caught a huge, largemouth bass. You certainly have a lovely place and have set-up with all the comforts one could ask for. Thank you for your gifts of pancake, syrup and jam. We ate it all up. Shadoe loved the dog treats.

What a wonderful time we had at Osprey Cottage. First, the cottage itself was beautiful and large and super clean. We were two families with adult children and two dogs and we never felt crowded. The hot tub was amazing. The lot private. And the most surprising part was this cottage was on a river. I’ve never rented on a river before and was a bit reluctant, but it was a lot of fun. The dogs could run in and out and they learned to stay on the paddleboards with us and there were little rapids that we canoed and kayaked down that took us in one direction to a beautiful lake and the other direction to wee falls. It really was perfect – thank you so much!

This has been the best 2 week holiday we have ever had. We saw 9 deer on the road in, 1 large red fox on the driveway, a river otter, 3 cranes while canoeing, 2X ospreys with fish in their talons (at separate times), river snakes, lots of frogs for our Shorkie Penny to chase. The cottage was wonderful with all the comforts of home.

A wonderful family vacation at the beautiful Osprey cottage. Our third annual visit! We saw so much wildlife: geese, otters, heron, snapping turtles, deer and fawns! Our daughter loved the stuffed moose! We are always amazed at how well equipped this house is. Thanks so much!

This cottage comes with everything you need. Fully stocked kitchen utensils and supplies, comfortable beds, clean sheets and towels, boards and kayaks to use, and beautiful large living space. The hot tub is a great bonus too. Would highly recommend Osprey Cottage for those looking for a quiet getaway!

The place has plenty of space for our group of 6. It was clean, and had a beautiful view of the river. One morning we were delighted to see 3 deer just across the river. Everything worked and the cottage was all ready for us when we arrived.

We have been to Osprey many times and it never disappoints. The cottage itself is spacious, clean and has everything you need for a vacation (except food). The deck is huge and very close to the river, having a cup of tea or a wee drink with that view is one of my favourite things. And you can take your dog. To top it all off there are water toys and a hot tub! Absolutely wonderful.
