- Please note that, according to the municipality’s bylaws, all dogs must be leashed or tethered on the property when outside. Dogs are not permitted to roam leash-free.
- Please note: Blue-green algae blooms occasionally occur on the lake. While conditions are often suitable for swimming, sometimes this makes swimming unsafe. They vary from year to year and can change throughout the season.
- Internet is currently not available, but there is a good cell signal
- Linens and towels are provided, but please bring your own outdoor towels
- There is no boat launch on the lake
- Dock is typically installed in May and removed in early November, water levels permitting. It is unhooked from the shoreline and left to freeze a few feet off shore. During the winter it makes a convenient platform for donning winter equipment once the ice has frozen safely.
- Rentals include a cleaning service; however, the cottage must be left in a tidy condition
- This cottage faces southwest; full sun around noon onwards; fantastic sunsets
