Oak Lake Escape is a perfect cottage rental for small families or groups looking for a traditional, yet affordable, cottage vacation. Less than 2 hours from the GTA, this cottage comes with a fully-equipped kitchen with new appliances (no dishwasher), watercraft (kayak and SUP), a firepit, 4 Muskoka chairs, and a spacious open concept living / dining room, perfect for creating memories as a group and enjoying waterfront views.
On the interior, the cottage has 2 bedrooms (one queen, one double) as well as two futons (doubles) in the living room. For the chefs in the group, this cottage comes with new Kitchenaid appliances and an oven / stove to cook any meal.
On the exterior, you will be able to enjoy lakeside views while lounging on one of the cottage's Muskoka chairs. The cottage includes a kayak and a SUP, as well as noodles, to enjoy the water. The water is weedy, so water shoes are recommended, although does clear up a few feet from the dock in deeper water.
The cottage is well-located with easy access to Stirling (under a 5-minute drive) where you'll be able to pick up groceries and enjoy local cuisine. If you are interested in a round of golf, the cottage is conveniently located only a 5-minute drive from Oak Hills Golf Club. If you're interested in exploring some trails, the cottage is nearby many hiking and snowmobile trails.

- Linens and indoor towels are provided for all reservations; please bring your own outdoor towels
- A post-rental cleaning service is provided; however, the cottage is to be left in a tidy condition and towels are to be put in the shower
- Guests must provide children's lifejackets/PFDs to ensure a proper fit
Waterfront
The waterfront can be weedy, particularly during warm periods, however if you swim a few feet from the dock it becomes clear. The water depth is approximately 3-4 feet off of the dock. Fishing is allowed off the dock. There is a public boat launch that is an approximately 3 minute boat ride from the cottage.
