Mapleview cottage surpassed our expectations. The cottage kitchen had everything we needed to prepare our meals. Our grandchildren who have vacationed with us the past four years, stated, “This is the best holiday house ever!” My husband just had his knee replaced and could access the water with ease. The deck furniture was sturdy and easy to clean. We enjoyed a visit to Bon Echo Prov Park utilizing the park pass. The fire pit was well situated near the water and away from the cottage. We have already planned our return!

The cottage was in great shape when we arrived. All areas were clean and matched the description. The little private beach area was perfect for relaxing and watching the kids paddle board and kayak. The kitchen was well equipped with everything that we needed. The deck had amazing, solid furniture and enough seating for our family. Overall, a wonderful stay.

Beautiful cottage! Warm, inviting cottage, comfortable beds, well stocked kitchen. When we arrived the cottage was spotless and there was a roaring fire awaiting us in the woodstove. Lovely touch! The smart tv was enjoyed, and the hot tub was a relaxing end to the day. We had a great winter weekend!

An incredibly beautiful cottage for a family getaway. It felt like our second home. The owners made every detail special and comfortable. It has amazing views of the lake, a great outdoor space for the kids and dog, and a peaceful vibe all around. The cottage is so clean and organized. Thank you for an amazing time to create family memories.

The cottage and property were spotless and beautifully maintained. We loved the quiet corner of lake we were on. The beach and amenities included with the rental for use in the water were wonderful additions that kept the kids busy on the water all day. We loved exploring the waterways and nearby hiking trails. Would definately rent this spot again.

Perfect getaway for our family. The sandy shore and shallow entry was perfect for our small grandchildren. The location was so peaceful with no water traffic in the bay. Loved having the fire pit by the water. Would definitely recommend this cottage, and hope to be back next year.

Great property, especially good for young kids as the lake was a walk in, which was perfect for us. Cottage was well equipped. Was a lovely place to stay. Only ‘issue’ we had was with the garbage disposal site, the hours weren’t great. In fact we left all our garbage until the Friday afternoon, only to find out that it shut at 1pm, which we had missed. There was a booklet that was provided at the cottage that details this and other stuff but it should be a warning to check times. Because we also couldn’t dump the garbage on the Saturday because we had to be out by 10.30 and the garbage site didn’t open til 12noon. So we had to drive 3 hrs home with all our luggage etc plus l the garbage, not the nicest drive home. Essentially it was our fault for not reading properly, but maybe there could be bigger warning about the garbage site and opening and closing times etc. This is just a heads up for anyone else who might stay. But again, the cottage was amazing and we will likely book it again for next year if it’s available.

It was the perfect location, size, amenities for my extended family. It was a Thanksgiving well spent and I anticipate my extended family (parents, sister, own family) will be looking to rent that cottage again. The owners were very responsible and very accommodating and we found the cottage to be just as they had described.
