A cozy and comfortable cottage with a wonderful view from extensive decking at the front. Enjoying our coffee and reading while overlooking the lake and watching sunsets. Inside is inviting with themed bedroom linens and comfortable beds. Living area provided ample seating and an electric wood stove fireplace to take away the chill as we had a cool week. Kitchen is well stocked and thankfully a water jug is provided as notices were left about not drinking the water. A little worrying but we managed. The dining area has a window air conditioner. Bathroom is compact but we managed with my Mum’s walker. Nice towels! The different levels of the property invite you to the water and pathways lead you to the newly constructed bunkie which is adorable. Fresh pine scent and a super balcony for those lucky to use it. There is a large grassy area at the side for a kick about and with badminton net . The sandy entry to water is here also. Having the fireplace area and two lower deck areas for entertaining or taking in the sun completes the cottage. Thanks for our relaxing and quiet getaway.

Two families stayed at this amazing cottage on Manitouwabing. What an outstanding waterfront. Great deck outside cottage and wonderful space down at the water – this cottage is perfect getaway. of the weather is nice for a large group – 6plus. The Bunkie is perfect on the lake. We had boats and dogs and it was wonderful. Only thing I would state if you are boating is the lake does not mark shallow water or rocks well. Internet could have been better and AC would have been nice but HOSTS were excellent and very helpful. We would definitely go back,

We spent the last two weeks of August at Manitouwabing Shores and loved every minute of it. While it is right next door to another property, the owners were quiet when there and not there most of the time we were. The rest of this little bay was surprisingly quiet. The waterfront area is fabulous with a bar and bar fridge an added bonus. We enjoyed reading on the dock and swimming, as well as the sandy entry area for playing water games. It really was a perfect spot and we hope to go back again next year!

Our family spent a great weekend getaway at this wonderful cottage. The weather was amazing, the fishing was good, and the memories will last a lifetime. Our dog, Pyrrho, enjoyed it as much (probably more) than the whole family! Wonderful stay.

We really enjoyed our stay at Manitouwabing Shores. The cottage has an excellent layout, taking advantage of the lake views from key rooms, the beds are very comfortable and everything we needed was there. The waterfront is exceptional, the double docks were ideal for docking our boat, fishing and lounging. There are several outdoor levels you can relax at, and the shed by the waterfront is perfect for storing the boat/fishing gear we brought along. The sunset views are beautiful, and the cottage owners were very thoughtful. We would love to stay again!

Manitouwabing Shores is nestled in the trees on the lake with gorgeous views of sunsets every night which makes for a spectacular dining experience on the deck overlooking the water and nearby small islands. The water was a perfect temperature already in June for great swimming off the dock. There was lots to see when kayaking, including being able to view the curling shoreline of the finger lake and explore shallow inlet natural area that would be difficult to see any other way besides kayak as you can move over very shallow water without disturbing the wildlife or getting stuck on the bottom of marshy wildlife haven areas to see fish, frogs, turtles, and birds. The green kayak was splendidly comfortable and pleasant to get around in with speed. The lower deck also has an attractive seating area with comfortable chairs and a bar type area. The decks and patio and outdoor areas were one of our favorite things about this cottage. The bedrooms were very beautiful and the beds comfortable and adorned with attractive bedding and pillows and there were lovely, cozy blankets on the couches for snuggling on the couch for movies or reading. I did read one of the provided books in the shelf and enjoyed that. The kitchen provided everything needed and was user friendly and the dishwasher worked well (better than ours at home!) I loved the mother duck and her 11 ducklings that visited near our dock every day. They came right up close and were quite comfortable hanging out nearby. Normally washer/dryer and hot tub are on our must-haves list since the air can be on the cool side in June evenings when we go cottaging, which is the only reason I didn’t apply 5 stars, but if you don’t care for those or go in hot summer, I suppose you wouldn’t miss them! We were able to warm up after swimming when it was cold out in the hot shower! It is clear the owners take pride in their cottage and keep it very beautiful and welcoming and cozy all around. We loved the personal note of welcome and the table being set just for us and the lovely gift. It was so special. Thank you for sharing your cottage with us!
