This 3-bedroom, 1-bath bungalow is perfect for small families looking for the simple joys of cottage country—without sacrificing modern conveniences.
Inside, you’ll find a bright, refreshed space designed for easy living. The kitchen and dining area are well-equipped for family meals, while the cozy den with TV provides a spot to relax after a day outdoors. Three comfortable bedrooms and a modernized bathroom ensure that everyone has a restful place to recharge.
Outdoors, the cottage stays true to its roots. The wraparound deck overlooks the firepit and lake, offering a timeless setting for morning coffee or evenings spent roasting marshmallows under the stars. From there, stairs lead down to the water where you’ll find a private dock, canoe, and paddleboat. The combination of hard-packed shoreline and open water makes it easy to swim, paddle, or simply sit back and take in the view.
When you’re ready to explore, there’s no shortage of family-friendly adventures nearby. Parry Sound, with its local shops, dining, and the famous Island Queen Cruise through the 30,000 Islands, makes a perfect day trip. For outdoor exploration, Killbear Provincial Park offers sandy beaches and forested trails ideal for hiking and picnics. Closer to the cottage, the quiet waters of Shawanaga Lake invite fishing, paddling, and peaceful wildlife watching.

- Pets are not permitted
- This cottage is in the Municipality of Whitestone. The Municipal STR Licence restricts the cottage to maximum 6 people at any given time during your stay.
- Linens are provided – please bring your own outdoor towels
- Post departure cleaning is arranged immediately following your check out time. Please ensure the short pre-departure cleaning checklist is completed and you have fully checked out of the cottage by your departure time to avoid any additional cleaning fees.
- Garbage and recycling disposal is required prior to departure
- The fireplace is not operable
- The cottage TV has no channel reception or access to streaming, but you can bring your own device to access any streaming services you personally subscribe to. Please note, these services will require your personal login information and are not provided.

Waterfront
The waterfront spans 100 feet in width and is accessible via the dock, as the natural shoreline is rocky. The water depth at the end of the dock is approximately 8 feet or more. The lake bottom consists of a mix of rocks and silt. The lake is great for swimming, with few to no weeds. Anglers will appreciate the excellent fishing opportunities, with bass and Northern Pike commonly found in the lake.Sun Exposure

Approximate depth off the dock is 8 to 10 feet. The dock can accommodate a boat up to 14 feet in length. Dock is typically installed in May and removed in October.Close-By Attractions
- Charles W Stockey Centre/Bobby Orr Museum. The Stockey Centre for the Performing Arts is the venue for various musical shows and films. Beside it, the Bobby Orr Hall of Fame has a wonderful collection of past and present sports information that will appeal to a wide range of people, plus there are fun interactive activities for the whole family. (35 minutes)
- Festival of the Sound. The Festival of the Sound is a world-renowned chamber and classical music festival in scenic Parry Sound. Founded in 1979 by pianist Anton Kuerti, The Festival has grown to cover three weeks and dozens of concerts, including weekends of jazz and folk music. The concerts take place in the Charles W. Stockey Centre, with special events like cruises and masterclasses using other local venues such as the Island Queen Cruise Ship or the Festival Station Office.
- Island Queen Cruise. Several different boat cruises are available on Georgian Bay, ranging from 2 hour morning cruises to Island Adventure Tours. (35 mins)
- Killbear Provincial Park. Park features kilometres of rugged, rocky shoreline mixed with numerous sand beaches and beautiful views of windswept pines on rocky islands. There's a 6 km recreational trail for hiking and biking, (50 mins)
