Perfectly located only 5 minutes from the 407 and 45 minutes from Downtown Toronto, it's mere steps to many ski hills, trails and outdoor activities! There is something to do every season at this waterfront oasis, without traveling too far outside the GTA! Paddle along in any one of the provided watercraft and swim in the exclusive Chalk Lake, a hidden treasure just outside the Durham Region. Bring your mountain bike and explore Durham Forest with over 60 Km of trails. The Trail Hub restaurant and biking hub is just 2 minutes away, where they host both running and biking races throughout the season! While you have your running shoes with you, explore the winding country road from the cottage and don’t forget your skis! Ski Dagmar (1.4 km) & Lakeridge Ski Resort (1.2 km) are both only minutes away, offering the perfect “home base” for your winter skiing getaways and Mudgirl weekends at Ski Dagmar in the summer! It's the ideal location for an amazing girl's trip with the newly opened ThemaSpa in Whitby too.
Outside the cottage, the property is very private with multiple decks, patios, and a boardwalk leading you right to the dock at the water's edge. Enjoy the patio seating and covered hot tub overlooking the lake, just outside the lower-level doors, for those snowy winter dips!
This contemporary cottage is far from ordinary! It has been beautifully renovated with a brand-new chef’s kitchen, soaring windows, and a truly open-concept design. Walking into the cottage from the covered bridge, you’re welcomed by a large foyer that opens into the family room and dining space. The exposed beams and neutral colour palette, bring the outdoors in, by showcasing the gorgeous view of the trees and lake. You and your guests can relax inside together, snuggled up on the massive sectional couch with the woodstove roaring while you catch your favourite movie on the big screen TV. Or, walk out to the deck and enjoy some time in the sun, overlooking the lake and yard.
Upstairs you’ll find the sunfilled primary suite designed as a loft space, overlooking the dining area below, where the picture windows continue up to the ceiling. The primary bathroom is truly unique with the large tiled shower, water closet, and laundry. The king bed also features a king trundle tucked underneath, welcoming up to 2 adults and 2 additional children in this luxurious suite.
You’ll notice from the primary suite, the staircase continues leading to the widow’s walk and rooftop patio with an amazing view of the lake and surrounding area. This rooftop patio even features a completely private outdoor shower!
There is one more level downstairs, where you’ll find sleeping for up to 4 additional guests, another 2-piece bath, wet bar, and walk out to the patio! Let’s not forget access to the hot tub and yard is from this level with 2 separate entrances. Each sleeping space in the cottage converts and the lower level is no different with the sleeper couch and two chairs converting from chaise and into twin beds.

Waterfront
Water is deep off the dock into clean, clear, spring fed water, with no shallow water wading. There are few to no weeds.Close-By Attractions

Nearby options include Spring Creek Golf Club (10 mins), Coppinwood Golf Club (15 mins), Golfers Dream (10 mins), Sunnybrae Golf Club (10 mins), Lakeridge Links Golf Club (5 mins), Mill Run Golf Club (20 mins), and Wooden Sticks Golf Club (10 mins).
- Crow’s Pass Conservation Area. Crow’s Pass Conservation Area (64 hectares) offers three kilometres of forest-floor trails, along with a connection to the Oak Ridges Moraine Trail. (10 mins)
- Dagmar North Mountain Biking Trails.A playground for mountain bikers! The Dagmar North trails vary in skill level, and there are logovers, a fall line trail, rock gardens, a fall line trail, hair pin turns, rollers and berms. (5 mins)
- Downhill Skiing, Snowboarding, and Tubing.Just 2 minutes away, Lakeridge Resort offers 22 trails ranging from beginner to advanced for skiing and snowboarding. Options include moguls, 2 terrain parks, 1 snowcross, 1 banked slalom, and a 6 lane tube park spread across 70 acres. Even closer is Dagmar Ski Resort, offering Learn to Ski Lessons, a variety of slopes and Terrain Park. Alpine skiing and snowboarding only - there are no trails for cross country skiing or snowshoeing. The local annual MudGirl race also takes place at Ski Dagmar.
- Hy-Hope Farm and Golf Course. There’s something for every season at the farm, from fruits and vegetables in the summer, tobogganing in the winter, local firewood provider, freshly baked goods, jams and preserves. There's also a family-friendly 18-hole executive golf course, where parents can bring their children to learn how to play golf in a relaxed atmosphere. (2 mins)
