Please note the wood stove is not available for guest use.

- Linens and towels are provided, but please bring your own outdoor towels
- Rentals include a cleaning service; however, the cottage must be left in a tidy condition
- Garbage and recycling removal prior to departure is required
- The wood stove is not available for guest use
- Please note there is a relatively steep path to the waterfront and may not be suitable for anyone with mobility issues
- The waterfront has southwestern exposure for all day sun
- There is no boat launch available for the river, but boats may be launched on other nearby lakes
- This cottage rents Saturday to Saturday, weekly only, at all times
Waterfront
The waterfront has a silty bottom, so the best swimming is off the dock. There are some weeds, but it's generally good for swimming. There is no boat launch access to the river, but boats may be launched and used on other nearby lakes.Close-By Attractions
- Screaming Heads. Unique site featuring a castle and the depiction of the apocalypse using screaming heads and scared hands,howling wolves, 4 horsemen of the apocalypse and much more! The sculptures are spread over 300 acres of property. (40 minutes)
- Whitestone Lake Recreational Trail. This 2.9 km multi-use trail loops through a diverse mixed forest with towering hemlock and vibrant oak trees, with a lookout. (5 mins)
- The Cornelia Levering Broadmeadows Trail. Traverses areas of different forest stands and ecosystem types including hardwood maple, pockets of white pine, and a small tamarack plantation.(25 mins)
- Whitestone Waterfront Park. Waterfront park offering a public beach for swimming with a floating swimming platform, an excellent boat launch, and children's playground equipment. The Duck Rock Restaurant/Gas Bar next to it has a highly popular Kawartha Dairy, and firewood can be purchased there. (10 mins)
- Island Queen Cruise.Take a day trip and join a cruise on the beautiful waters and spectacular surroundings of Georgian Bay. Of particular note is the adventure tour to Huckleberry Island, including a guided hike on the island and cool off with a dip in the secluded, shallow beach area there. (40 mins)
