The lodge comfortably sleeps 10 guests, with 5 spacious bedrooms elegantly furnished, each offering tranquility and comfort. The The fully equipped kitchen, complete with a dishwasher, is ready to handle any culinary endeavor, while the central A/C ensures a cool and comfortable stay.
Great Raccoon Lodge has no shortage of amenities to keep the group busy. With two smart TVs, PS4, and a karaoke speaker, there's never a dull moment. Or indulge in friendly competition with a game of pool or foosball, or simply curl up by the gas fireplace with a good book. This cottage ensures you stay connected with unlimited Wi-Fi. The cottage also comes equipped with a fully automatic generator.
The exterior is equally impressive, boasting a fabulous deck, a hot tub, a wood-burning sauna, and two BBQs, perfect for the grill master in your group. At night, sit around the fire pit to roast marshmallows and share stories under the starlit sky. With a spacious firepit and lots of Muskoka chairs, it's perfect for a large family. The waterfront invites you to dive into the lake or embark on a leisurely pedal boat ride.
The Great Raccoon Lodge is nestled in an area filled with fun attractions. The King's Wharf Theatre and Wye Marsh Wildlife Centre offer cultural and natural experiences, while Awenda Provincial Park provides lots of hiking, canoeing, and winter activities. The sandy beaches of Balm Beach, Lafontaine Beach, and Tiny Beach are all just a short drive away.

Things you need to know:
- This cottage is licenced for short term rental in the Tsp of Tiny; Licence # STRTT-2023-041. The Municipality requires rental guests sign a Rental Guest Code of Conduct. It will be sent to you upon booking for electronic signature.

- Linens and towels are provided, but please bring your own outdoor towels
- Rentals include a cleaning service; however, the cottage must be left in a tidy condition
- Southeastern exposure
- Good snow tires are required for winter access but 4WD is not necessary
Waterfront
There is a sandy beach, and the waterfront has a sandy bottom. Weeds are controlled by water mats on the lake bottom. Water is approximately 10' deep off the dock. The dock is in place year round.Close-By Attractions
- King's Wharf Theatre. Venue for live theatre. Nestled within Discovery Harbour on the shores of Georgian Bay in Penetanguishene, the King's Wharf Theatre is flanked by majestic tall ships and the historic buildings of a 19th century British naval and military base. (20 mins)
- Awenda Provincial Park.
- Wye Marsh Wildlife Centre. The Wye Marsh Wildlife Centre is located on 3,000 acres of Provincially Significant Wetlands and woodlands. Visitors of all ages and abilities are encouraged to discover raptors & reptiles in the interpretive display hall, explore the hiking, cross country ski & snowshoeing trails, experience canoeing & kayaking on a guided tour through the marsh channels, visit the observation tower, floating boardwalks, waterfowl monitoring platform, wildflower gardens, the bee house and so much more. (30 mins)
- Beaches.Conveniently located near several great beaches - Balm Beach, Lafontaine Beach, and Tiny Beach are all within 15-20 minutes of the cottage.
- Winter.This is the perfect location for winter getaways, offering nearby trails for snowmobiling trails, cross country skiing and snow shoeing. The Awenda Provincial Park is just minutes away, and offers 17 km of back country ski trails. If you prefer your trails to be groomed, Mountain View Ski Centre offers 35 km of groomed trails for cross country skiing and snowshoeing, with rentals. Ice fishing is also available nearby.
