Tucked along the shores of beautiful Colpoy’s Bay on Georgian Bay, just minutes from the town of Wiarton, Georgian Bluffs Retreat offers a classic Ontario escape surrounded by the striking natural beauty of the Bruce Peninsula. Set on a gently sloping lot that leads down to the water, this inviting cottage comfortably accommodates up to 9 guests (maximum 4 adults), making it an ideal setting for families or small groups looking to unwind and reconnect by the lake.
Inside, the main level welcomes you with two queen bedrooms located just off the entrance, along with a bright and functional 4-piece bathroom conveniently situated between the bedrooms and the open-concept kitchen, dining, and family room. Large windows frame views of the bay, while the living space flows seamlessly out to a spacious deck overlooking the water — the perfect place for morning coffee, afternoon lounging, or evening sunsets. Downstairs, you’ll find additional sleeping options including a third bedroom with bunks, a Murphy bed and futon, along with a 2-piece bathroom and laundry area for added convenience.
Designed for comfort in every season, the cottage features two propane fireplaces — one on each level — creating a cozy atmosphere after a day spent outdoors. Guests can enjoy unlimited high-speed internet and a TV for streaming, while the open living areas provide plenty of space to gather for meals, games, or quiet nights in.
Outdoors, the property showcases the rugged charm of Georgian Bay, with a natural stone shoreline and clear, refreshing waters ideal for swimming, kayaking, or simply soaking in the view. The dock accommodates small boats, offering easy access to explore Colpoy’s Bay or enjoy a day of fishing. Just a short drive away, Wiarton and the surrounding Bruce Peninsula offer hiking along the Bruce Trail, scenic lookouts, charming shops, and local dining — all set against the iconic backdrop of the Niagara Escarpment.

- A max of 1 large or 2 small dogs or cats are welcome; no other pets
- Please note that, according to the municipality’s bylaws, all dogs must be leashed or tethered on the property when outside. Dogs are not permitted to roam leash-free.
- This cottage is in the Tsp of Georgina Bluffs; Licence #GB-STRA-2025-004. The Municipal STR Licence restricts the cottage to maximum 9 people at any given time during your stay.
- Linens are provided – please bring your own outdoor towels
- Garbage and recycling disposal is required
- Post departure cleaning is arranged immediately following your check out time. Please ensure the short pre-departure cleaning checklist is completed and you have fully checked out of the cottage by your departure time to avoid any additional cleaning fees.
- The cottage TV will allow you to sign into any of the streaming services you personally subscribe to. Please note, these services will require your personal login information and are not provided.

Waterfront
There is 86’ of waterfront on Georgian Bay. A shallow walk-in entry is possible from the stony beach, and water shoes are strongly recommended. The lakebed consists of small stones near shore, transitioning to silt further out. Dock entry is also available, with a ladder for easier access in and out of the water. The water is approximately 3’ deep at the end of the dock before quickly deepening to 20’ or more.Sun Exposure

The cottage’s dock can accommodate very small boats only. There is a boat launch just 5 minutes away.Close-By Attractions
- Bruce Trail. Ideally located if hiking is your passion! Skinner's Bluff Trail Head is just 10 minutes away, and gives you an entry point to the Bruce Trail. Or choose from the many other sections of the trail running right through the area, all the way north to Tobermory.
- Bruce Peninsula National Park and The Grotto. For a day trip, within an hour you'll find the Bruce Peninsula National Park, featuring towering cliffs of the Niagara Escarpment plunging into the blue waters of Georgian Bay. World famous hiking in a rugged landscape, home to orchids, ferns and black bears. Be sure to book a parking time slot in advance and hike to The Grotto, Bruce County's most popular attraction, a bustling hot spot visited by hundreds of thousands of people every year. Its turquoise pool of water and intricate cave structures are mesmerizing!
- Golfing. Wiarton Bluffs Golf Course is just 1 minute from the cottage, and Cobble Beach Golf Links and Legacy Ridge Golf Courses are both within 30 minutes. Play a round while taking in the spectacular views over Georgian Bay!
- Keppel Croft Gardens. Keppel Croft Gardens features four acres of award-winning gardens, a nature trail, an arboretum, and Keppel Henge. (10 mins)
