This newly renovated, open concept, Georgian Bay cottage rental is perfectly suited as a year-round getaway! At just 90 minutes from the GTA and close to local towns like Victoria Harbour (5 minutes) and Midland (15 minutes), Four Season Lakehouse is conveniently located for day trips, restaurants, shops, and groceries.
Four Seasons Lakehouse Cottage has a shallow waterfront, perfectly suited for children, and it's a great spot for fishing too! If you have your own fishing boat, launch it on site, and enjoy boating in beautiful Georgian Bay! Pamper yourself at one of the local spas or enjoy a concert or play at the Midland Cultural Centre. There are also many great golf courses in the area and Copeland Forest, a great day trip activity, is only a 20 mins from the cottage!
Inside, the cottage is open concept and beautifully arranged, with a main floor bedroom and walk-in shower that's also suitable for anyone with mobility challenges. The bedrooms are spacious, with ample closets and storage. The cottage includes two bathrooms, a 3-piece ensuite bathroom on the ground floor and a 4-piece bathroom on the lower level. Along with the comfortable seating in the living room, there's a smart TV and a selection of games, books and puzzles, making it a great spot for the group to relax after a big day down at the dock or out on a day trip! Beside the living room, the cottage includes a dining table which can seat 6 people. If you are looking to cook that perfect meal then look no further than the spacious, and completely modern, kitchen at this Georgian Bay cottage rental. It includes completely new appliances and includes a stainless-steel oven and natural gas cooktop (no dishwasher).
On the exterior, there is a large deck overlooking the lake and includes an outdoor dining table that can seat 6 people. The deck overlooks a flat, grassy, lawn that leads towards the waterfront and is a perfect spot for children to play. Two kayaks are provided, along with two adult-sized life jackets. The firepit is steps from the waterfront, perfect for after a day of sun and fun on the water. A fence along the left side provides privacy from the neighbours.
Georgian Bay is a large, beautiful bay to explore. For nature lovers, Wye Marsh is just 5 minutes away, with trails for use year-round. For history buffs, Ste. Marie Among the Hurons and the Huronia Museum and Huron Wendat Village are each 5 minutes away. There are beaches on either Georgian Bay or Little Lake in Midland if you want to enjoy a day lounging on the beach, or simply walk outside and enjoy your own private waterfront right in the backyard.

Waterfront
The flat, grassy yard leads to a small sand / gravel beach area with shallow entry. A long dock extends out into the bay, to an approximate depth of 3'. The cottage is in a smaller bay off Georgian Bay.Close-By Attractions
- Wye Marsh. The Wye Marsh Wildlife Centre is located on 3,000 acres of Provincially Significant Wetlands and woodlands, and features an observation tower, floating boardwalks, waterfowl monitoring platform, wildflower gardens, trails for hiking, cross country ski & snowshoeing, and guided kayak tours through the marsh channels.
- Tay Shore/Trans Canada Trail.Multi-use paved trail, part of the Trans Canada Trail. Enjoy the nature setting of the trail, enhanced by informative plaques outlining the natural and historical aspects of the municipality.
The Tay Shore Trail passes through wetland, field and wooded areas, over the Wye, Hogg and Sturgeon Rivers and into the quaint community villages where you can stroll the downtowns and stop for lunch. - Martyrs' Shrine.Martyrs' Shrine is more than just a beautiful old building. It is a place of worship, a place to meet, a sanctuary, a haven, a celebration, a place of joy and occasionally sadness, but most of all it is alive with the people who make the Shrine what it is today.
- Sainte-Marie Among the Hurons. This world-renowned reconstruction illustrates the interaction of the French and Wendat nations. Visitors get a unique opportunity to see the earliest Canadian pioneer life, through guided or self-guided visits.
- Huronia Museum. This museum features a replica of a "pre-contact" Huron/Ouendat village, including a lookout tower, wigwam and a full-size longhouse. The museum also features an exhibit gallery featuring tens of thousands of historic artifacts ranging from photographs, native archaeology, marine heritage of Georgian Bay and art by members of the Group of Seven.
- Beaches. Just minutes from the cottage there are lots of beaches! McKenzie Beach is a sandy beach (5 mins.) and has excellent views of the harbour. Just south of the beach is Albert Street parkette, a fantastic place for family picnics. Little Lake Park (10 minutes) is picturesque, with both natural and active settings. Besides the Little Lake beach, there's a skateboard park, ball diamond, beach volleyball courts, tennis courts, dog park, basketball court, disc golf, play equipment, boating (10hp and under only), community garden, horticultural displays, nature trails, and picnic shelters.
- Midland Cultural Centre. This modern, architecturally unique facility combines performing arts, creative arts, visual arts, theatre and great food all under one roof. Enjoy a world-class music concert, take an art class, view the latest exhibition in one of their three galleries, or enjoy an evening of theatre.
- Winter - Skiing, Skating & Snowshoeing. The cottage is perfectly located for winter sport enthusiasts! Within 20 minutes of Mt. St. Louis Moonstone Ski Resort, which has 36 different ski slopes for downhill skiers and snowboarders, and Mountainview Ski Centre which offers 35 km of groomed cross country and snowshoe trails. For skaters, the Tay Community Area is just 5 minutes away.
