The owner was an excellent host. His pre-trip details were accurate and made for no need at all for me to need to reach out to him. The cottage was spotless and had an extremely well equipped kitchen. There was ample parking for 2 cars. The hills leading to the cottage require you to watch your speed, but are completely manageable. I have three children who have large age gaps and it’s very difficult to find vacations that will suit the needs of all of their age ranges (23, 20, and 13). Everyone had something to do. My youngest spent the entire week fishing off the doc, and walking the dog on the road was a really great work out. We got to see moose, deer, and plenty of chipmunks. The neighbours are friendly and it’s a very peaceful area. The owner’s diligence to water conservation, and making sure that the cottage was well equipped with bottled water was astounding. Early morning paddle boards are easy in this area the water is like glass in the morning. Such a breathtaking spot!!

It was perfect and exceeded expectations. Anything I needed was already there or Kevin (the host) was very quick to respond and was able to make our stay an outstanding experience. We highly recommend to families as well. Thanks again.

Beautiful cottage, very clean and organized. The lake was spectacular. We enjoyed our stay very much and I am looking forward to go back to this cottage

Very welcoming home! From the moment we entered the house, it was clear that this cabin is very well loved. It has everything you need for a stay. Comfortable and clean. Quite and peaceful place which gave us so much energy and the opportunity to relax! The Lake view is Just amazing. Kids had so much fun catching and releasing fish. Morning Coffee at the front was such a beauty and a great start of the day. Love this stay! Hope to be able to come back again ❤️

Really appreciated the small attention to details by the host. Cottage was comfortable and clean. Well lit and setup around the cottage for night. Stayed comfortably with three kids under the age of 3, nice stay for whole family. Also appreciated the speaker/sound setup for listening to music. TV was nice for kiddos as well. Great swimming off of the dock and fun fishing for kids (rock bass and blue gill/sunfish). Highly recommend.

Really enjoyed our stay, the owner & CLRM were very helpful and quick to respond before and during. Very nice indoor and outdoor space, the dock was great and the kitchen was really well stocked. Overall great experience!

We had a great stay at Dunchurch Shores. It was clean and had everything we needed for the weekend. Great wifi and TV reception. Kevin was very responsive and always ready to answer any questions. The lake is great for swimming off the dock and we would definitely love to come back!
