Modern, comfortable cottage on a a lovely lake. The booking process and communications were smooth. The cottage is spacious and comfortable. Please note that there are quite a few stairs between the cottage and the lake (not an issue for us but important to know). The location is private and quiet whihc makes for a relaxing stay.

Our family just returned from a week at this cottage. It was beautiful, tranquil, and exactly as pictured. It has a lot of space and is well decorated. The kitchen is well equipped with most of the things that you will need. There is a gravel road coming into the cottage, but once you arrive, it’s quiet and picturesque. If you enjoy kayaking, it does take time to bring the kayaks up and down the stairs going towards the water. You need at least two people to do this. There were a few items that needed to be fixed in the cottage which we let the owners know about. It takes a little bit of time to get to Bancroft so it’s best to pack most necessities with you. Overall, a great stay.

A peaceful, clean and modern property located down a non paved road for the last few kilometres. Had difficulty with the key lock to gain entry but the host was quick to respond. Very clean and spacious inside and a great lake to kayak around. Would recommend the place if you want some peace and quiet. Kawartha Dairy does some great ice cream on the way into Bancroft.

My group of 6 had an amazing stay! The cottage was huge and spacious, and had everything you need. I was pleasantly surprised with how well stocked it was. The place is modern, clean and private with lots of things to keep you entertained. Highly recommend!

We had a fantastic stay at this Airbnb! The place was impeccably clean, offered private lake access, and had plenty of space. The host was incredibly friendly, responsive, and truly made our stay memorable. Lots of kayaking and got some steps in with the stairs – there’s 67 steps from the lake to the cottage but definitely worth being out of breath for a few second. It’s got an amazing view which again makes it worth it. I would definitely book again and highly recommend it to anyone!

This cottage comes as advertised. It was beautiful, with all the amenities of home. You need to spend 15 minutes on a bush road to get to the cottage, but it feels like home once you arrive. You need to take a number of stairs to get to the waterfront and there is no beach once you get down there. Some people may have an issue with it, but it was not a problem for our family. It was the perfect place to get away from things in order to enjoy some peace and tranquility. I would certainly go back.

This property delivered as promised. Majestic scenery, spectacular accommodations with all the mod coms you could ever ask for. We are well accustomed to life in cottage country and have grown quite fond of the grandeur that is northern Ontario. Fresh air and the sounds of tranquility was a perfect setting for our stay at Coe Lake Haus. We appreciated a walk in ready 5 star property such as this to set our vacation in motion. This breathtaking cottage had remote blinds for each room with a floor to ceiling fireplace and many other amenities that made our stay as enjoyable as any luxury hotel that the big cities offer. Make no mistake as most properties in this area the drive through the back country is no easy feet unless properly outfitted with either 4×4 or winter tires in the snowy months. Having said that I highly recommend Coe Lake Haus as your next back country get away. It will leave you with the a true appreciation of peaceful solitude.

The cottage was beautiful and cozy, with all the amenities we needed for a comfortable stay. The location was perfect – nestled in a quiet, secluded area. The host was incredibly accommodating, providing clear communication and helpful tips for our stay (the stay guide they provided was very helpful). We especially loved the outdoor space, which included a peaceful patio area and a beautiful fire pit. Overall, we had a wonderful experience and would highly recommend this Airbnb cottage to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway in a beautiful setting.

What a breathtaking view of the lake. The cottage is absolutely amazing and modern. Amazing host with easy check in. The attention to detail, everything was very modern. The jacuzzi was the icing to the cake. We went kayaking a few times, albeit carrying the kayak down and back up the stairs was a bit challenging but a good work out. We would definitely revisit.

Don’t miss out on this gem. The cottage is stunning, the description and photos match the place to a T and the owners were very accommodating. The lake is gorgeous in winter and summer. Can’t rave about it enough. Would rebook in a second.
