What an amazing cottage! The best one we’ve stayed at yet for many reasons! Great accommodations for many people, A/C (so important), and wifi signal was strong and no glitches, modern and well built! We especially loved the projector and the family room! So many comfy seats for everyone and everyone could easily see whatever was on the screen most of the time! Outside of the cottage they have a lovely deck space with tons of seating as well! Truly amazing! Also loved the convenience of lots of storage room in the kitchen! The lake was amazing – one of the better lakes we have visited! Hardly any mosquitoes as well! Beautiful road and trails to walk nearby as well! We had some info that might be very important for future cottage users! Rainy days on this property may mean power outages unless the cottage has a back up generator which this one did not. We feel it’s important for cottages to have this important safety backup as we lost time watching movies together, utilizing the bathroom/kitchen sink, and you run the risk of food spoiling if the power doesn’t come on quickly enough. The other suggestion we had for this cottage was to create proper stairs leading to the dock/lake as the hill this cottage sits on is quite steep for younger and older people. Lastly, the windows in the family room are gorgeous and crate such an awesome view however while watching the projector it would have made it easier to watch the screen without the reflection of the sun and the water on the screen – some windows covers would be great! Overall these couple of suggestions would have made this cottage a 5 star stay! But still quite amazing as is!
