We had an AMAZING time at the Cameron Vista cottage. Sturgeon Lake was gorgeous and a prime fishing spot for the fishermen in our family – both off the dock and in a boat we rented from the marina. The hot tub was a great feature, and we loved the Muskoka chairs lined up by the water – everywhere we went, the view was phenomenal! The cottage was so clean and modern, it is truly a gem of a vacation rental. The yard is perfect for lawn games and though it was a little too cold to swim, we made good use of the paddleboards, canoe and paddle boat! This is a great spot for toddlers as well – lots of space to roam around and they even include a few kids’ toys. Thank you for a great vacation!!

Our close group of friends rented this cottage for a week for the first time. We arrived just as the cleaners were finishing up a clean of the house & property & were allowed entry at check-in time. The property & house were spotless & looked exactly like the pictures presented on the website! The cottage was equipped with all the essentials & even the kitchen had all the gadgets you wouldn’t even have thought of (e.g., pizza cutters, hand mixer, Keurig/kettle/coffee maker, sugar, etc.)! All the appliances were easy to use & well maintained. The cottage itself as well as the property was so spacious & beautifully kept. The neighbours are incredibly friendly & helpful which made our first-time stay even better! Though the lake is a tad shallow & quite a bit weedy, the swimming was great! And the hot tub was incredible! I would highly recommend this cottage to anyone looking for a great getaway! We will be coming back for sure in the future!

We had a wonderful week at Cameron Vista Cottage. Over the last 2 years we have rented three cottages and this one by far, was our favourite. When we arrived the cottage was exactly like the pictures and was super clean. The kitchen was well equipped with everything you could possibly need to prepare meals. The beds were so comfy and cozy. The outside of the cottage is huge, front and back. The hot tub was just what the doctor ordered. We used the paddle boards in the lake and in the evening we roasted marshmallows in the fire pit. We have absolutely nothing negative to say about this stunning waterfront cottage and are looking forward to staying here again next year!

My family had a wonderful stay at Cameron Vista. We’ve rented many cottages over the years, and this is one of the best! Upon arrival, the cottage was sparkling clean. The kitchen was well equipped with a variety of pots and pans and all of the mattresses in each bedroom were extremely comfortable. We had 3 wonderful days of sunshine, where we enjoyed swimming in the lake, using the paddleboards and the canoe. On the rainy days, we enjoyed the big screen tv with many cable stations, playing board games, and the foosball table. On our last night, we took the short drive into Lindsay and treated our kids to a movie at the Lindsay Drive-In, which was a big hit! The spacious layout of the cottage made for a comfortable stay for our large family of 6. We’d love to rent this cottage again next summer!!

The place was very comfortable and spacious the owners thought of everything. It was super clean as well. It’s right on the water which is perfect. Both indoor and outdoor spaces are lovely!

We rented Cameron Vista June 27th – July 4th, 2020. We arrived after the cleaners completed a deep clean of the property (Covid-19). We met the owners who were super nice and helped us familiarize ourselves with the property. The cottage is in an amazing location on a beautiful lake. The neighbours were very friendly. There were lots of great amenities included (Paddle boat, canoe, stand up paddle boards). The cottage is very clean and modern. We had an amazing time and would highly recommend this cottage to other families!!!

Cameron Vista was a lovely modern cottage. The property has a beautiful location, with a shallow, walk in swimming area suitable for kids and adults who like to ease into the water. The outdoor facilities were comfortable and well equipped. A great fire pit by the water with comfy Muskoka chairs and plenty of dry wood, large hot tub, seating area and dining area with Bbq on the expansive deck. Inside the house every detail has been carefully curated. The kitchen was well equipped with excellent new pots, pans and ample tableware. Dining and living area are well furnished, modern, comfortable, and clean. A wide variety of games and toys all provided. Wifi and tv excellent. Bedrooms at Cameron Vista had new comfortable mattresses with hotel quality linens and towels. Laundry area was convenient and well equipped. A well written house book provides all essential information including hot tub maintenance, and suggestions for local eateries, vet services, and sightseeing or family activities. We have rented many properties in North America and Europe over the past 15 years. This was certainly one of our top experiences. We would definitely return and recommend it to others.

We had wonderful time in Cameron Vista ! It was very very clean and well equipment . Land scape is big ,We played frisbee in the front yard .Also big back yard right front of lake ! We enjoyed hot tab on the deck everyday! They have Kayak , puddle boat , Life jacket, everything is there to have a good time. Thank you for your high hospitality !!

We had a great time enjoying the lake, hiking and spelunking at nearby Warsaw Caves. We rented bikes in Fenelon Falls and had ice cream there after a 20+ mile ride. Loved the hot tub as we rented in the spring and loved jumping in the lake, then running to warm up in the hot tub.

The deck, the fire pit, the view, the hot tub made the outside incredible. Inside it was so nice. I am not sure it comfortably sleeps 9. I’d say more 7 ish. But so great all around. Love that Lindsay was so close too. Thanks for a wonderful week. We’d love to come back.
