We had a wonderful week a Big Beach! It is a lovely cottage overlooking the beach and Lake Huron. The spacious deck had plenty of seating and the sunsets were spectacular. The inside of the cottage felt very spacious because of the different levels, so you never felt crowded. The cottage was very clean and had everything you would ever need. The owners thought of everything to make your stay memorable. Great cottage!!

Big Beach was a very comfortable, well-equipped cottage with easy access to the beach and delightful views of the lake and sunsets! Thoughtful conveniences and personal touches were very appreciated.

As a family of 6 cousins, we were looking for a cottage that would satisfy all our personal wants and interests and found Big Beach not just met, but exceeded those expectations. The owners have thought of absolutely everything to make our stay relaxing, comfortable and stress-free. That’s on top of the water, waves and that all amazing view! We spent every waking minute enjoying all that from the deck and in the evening, sitting around the fire table which we all agreed “we had to get one of these” when we get home! All in all, a great place to re-charge and re-connect with family!

Big Beach was exactly what we were hoping for! It struck a wonderful balance between classic/nostalgic Lake Huron living and providing some sweet amenities (e.g. AC, WIFI, charging stations) that made our week extremely comfortable. The views, beaches and water speak for themselves. There are some options for lounging on the beach, including some shaded space up closer to the cottage. It was easy to keep track of our dog Aussie since there were portable fences available to set some clear limits on the deck. We had very good sleeps in the cozy bedrooms. We took advantage of the great variety of games, as well as of the Disney channel. The view of the storms was AMAZING from the upper family room. We are grateful for having a week at Big Beach. Thank you to the owners!

Our family has recently returned from a weeklong stay at Big Beach with memories to last a lifetime. The cottage itself is clean, comfortable, and well stocked with any forgotten items. The owners have looked after every detail! Our kids loved the little kids cave under the stairs. The beach is large and clean with unbelievable sun sets every night. There is nothing quite like an evening bonfire on the beach, watching the kids play in the waves while sun slowly drops. The view from the upper deck is also spectacular. This gem of a cottage has plenty of little touches that make it ever so charming. The beach toys were also well used by our family for an afternoon game of beach volleyball, frisbee or badminton. It exceeded our expectations!

My multigenerational family group just returned from a wonderful weeklong stay at this beautiful property. Its location right on the shores of Lake Huron could not be improved — we spent hours swimming in the turquoise blue, clean, warm water and watching jaw-droppingly gorgeous sunsets. The place was sparkingly clean, living spaces more than adequately accommodated our group, and the kitchen was very well equipped. We were especially touched by the owners’ welcome gift of bubble mix, smores fixings and sparkling juices they had waiting for us on our arrival. The children in our group also particularly loved the secret kids’ hideaway “cave” located under the main staircase (complete with LED twinkle lights and a chalkboard wall). We will definitely look to return again in the future.

Our family had a wonderful stay at this cottage! We weren’t familiar with this part of lake Huron and we are lucky to have found this hidden gem. The cottage was super clean. The beach was great (and very private), sunsets were unbelievably beautiful and so was the view from the upper deck. The owners looked after every little detail and it definitely exceeded our expectations! Highly recommended!!
