Thank you for opening up your lovely cottage to us! We had a great time shoveling off a rink (don’t mind the odd shape) and skating around on our masterpiece. We loved watching the birds and soaking up the natural light from the giant windows and cozying up by the warm fire at night. Many games were played and a 1000 piece puzzle was successfully completed just in the knick of time. Thanks so much!

We stayed at Belmont Lake for a special family weekend that included people of all ages, from grandparents to toddlers. There was something for everyone at this wonderful cottage! The beds were clean and comfortable, the beautiful kitchen was well equipped (good knives!) and big enough to accommodate cooks and apprentices alike. The various games kept the active ones occupied in the basement, the disco ball near the record player kept the toddlers grooving and there were many comfy chairs near the windows to sneak afternoon naps. The hosts, as well as CLRM, were exceptionally attentive and helpful. All communications were friendly, efficient and timely. I would not hesitate to book this property again, especially to try it out in the summertime!

Thank you for a wonderful weekend on Belmont Lake! Although we encountered some unseasonable rain, the entire family remained cozy and entertained by the amazing record collection, selection of games (especially pop-a-shot), and sitting around the dining table. We enjoyed a lovely campfire with s’mores (of course) on our last night. We would love to come back as this was the perfect getaway for the family!

Our stay was fabulous! So much to do for adults and kids! The games/the dock/hammock/outdoor tree swing. At night you can hear loons and wolf-song from across the lake…very peaceful. The view from the “wall of windows” was spectacular. We will be back!

We stayed for a weekend in late September and lucked out with great weather! Even if we had rainy days there is lots to do inside of the cottage, so many games and activities. The record player was such a nice touch, our family really enjoyed the collection they had. The hosts have thought of everything for your stay, but also to be able to take care of the spaces. It is so tastefully decorated and extremely comfortable. We all felt at home here! All of the water crafts were so much fun to use, the dock and deck were spacious enough to have all 8 of us sit and enjoy the scenery. It was a breeze to drive into town when we needed to restock a couple items. We hope to make this a yearly trip!

We really enjoyed our stay this week! You have a beautiful cottage and a beautiful setting in the forest. Our favourite activity was sitting on both docks enjoying the calm serenity of the lake. We also enjoyed taking the kayaks out and swimming off the dock.

Thank you very much for sharing your family home away from home with us! We braved the chilled water, paddled afar, met Drake, who came to meet our fellow Doodle. The night sky shone, the lake glimmered, the snake swam by (a few times). A very good place to bid farewell to the summer and welcome the new fall.

My husband, his parents, and our two-year-old had a wonderfully cozy, beautiful, and FUN stay at Belmont Lake Life cottage. There was something for everyone to enjoy no matter the season or weather. The cottage itself is pristine and stunning. The property could not be more serene or picturesque. And this cottage features so many incredible details from the unique decor to an entertaining selection of game options and music to set the mood. The cottage contained more than everything we hoped for and made it so easy for our growing family to settle in for the week. They even had a high chair for our toddler. The owners were exceptionally helpful and informative about the area and property. We cannot wait to revisit this special place and make it an annual trip! – The Clancy Family
