Stunning interior design of the Lakeside Cottage, and amazing views of the beautiful lake! We were very impressed with the ample sleeping accommodations provided for our large family, and there was plenty of indoor activities and fun outdoor activities for adults and children alike. Great fishing! There were quiet and peaceful moments observing the views from the Muskoka room, super daytime fun had by all down on the well-designed dock, and then later scanning the nighttime sky from that same dock; lastly, gathering by the firepit for a perfect ending to each day…. Many happy memories were made for the family at Bells’ Lake Dreamhouse. We will be back!

I could not imagine staying in a ‘cottage’ as amazing as this. The Lakehouse is just that, a beautifully appointed house with a spectacular view of the lake and sunsets. We were with a group of 10 and never did we feel on top of each other or short on space. My husband and I stayed on the lowest level with the walkout to the lake and huge careened in Muskoka room. Just wow. We also cooked in each night and were thrilled with how the kitchen had absolutely everything we needed to serve a large group. Absolutely everything is so well thought out by the owners so you want for nothing. This will most definitely be an annual stay now for us!

We could not get over how quiet and serene this lake was. Exactly what we needed. An absolutely stunning cottage, with no detail overlooked. From paddleboarding to a fantastic pool table, we never ran out of activites- truly something for eveyone. We will be returning this winter to experience the beauty Bell’s Dream to snowshoe and snowmobile. It was truly a privilege to stay in such a gorgeous, comfortable and welcoming place.

We recently had a fabulous 3-night stay with extended family at Bells Dream. The cottage has everything you could possibly wish for and more. There are several different living spaces (including a beautiful sunroom and a luxurious basement equipped with many games, a Pool table and Table-tennis) so finding a quiet niche or a place to hang out to play games is never a problem. The decor and furnishings are top notch, the kitchen is extremely well appointed and spacious, the bedrooms are beautiful, and the main room is perfect for family get togethers or movie nights with the kids. As mentioned in other reviews the lakefront views are spectacular and Bark lake itself is a beautiful unspoiled lake. We will be back for sure!

We stayed at this cottage with family in order to have much needed rest & relaxation. The peace and quiet allowed us just to chill and recharge. The cottage has so many spaces inside and out to just sit and relax or have fun with activities on offer. My wife loved to nap or read in “Nan’s Nook” while my favourite spot was reading in front of the big window in the main living area, which was full of light and has a beautiful view of the lake. We all enjoyed cooking and eating together as there is a wonderful kitchen and large dining table. We played board games, table tennis, and watched movies. Outside was as inviting. We kayaked, played Cornhole, completely melted in the most wonderful way inthe sauna, and sat around the firepit toasting marshmallows. We were sad to leave, but glad to have had our stay at Bells’ Dream and look forward to our next visit. Congrats to the hosts for thinking of everything we’d need, and more.

What an amazing winter escape! The cottage is absolutely stunning. Every room and detail has been so carefully designed to make your stay as comfortable as possible. The cottage has everything you need for short or longer term stays, and being able to start or end a cold winter’s day in the sauna is a dream. The views are spectacular, especially when snow covered, and the cottage has all the cozy vibes you need. You could easily snowshoe and get a winter hike in, come back and hop in the sauna, and settle in for a movie or pour a glass of wine and enjoy a good book in the special upstairs reading nook. Hosts are very communicative and helpful. Looking forward to staying again!

Bells’ Dream Lakehouse is an oasis of tranquility hidden in the Madawaska Valley/Barry’s Bay region of Ontario. The only noise you’ll hear while staying here, is the chirping of birds or the crackling of logs in the fire pit. The home itself is stunning, with a warm and welcoming atmosphere on all 3 levels. Bells’ Dream is cozy for a couple looking to relax, to a larger group of friends and family who need space! We enjoyed using the provided kayaks, tanning on the dock and all the fishing you can handle on Bark Lark! Your stresses are lifted every morning once you enjoy your coffee on the beautiful deck overlooking the lake, and we highly recommend starting a fire in the pit during the evening to chat or just stare at the majesty of this home and Bark lake. Eric and Tania are the most gracious guests who have put much thought and effort building Bells’ Dream, they’ve touched all the bases, and hit a home run! We are definitely returning next year.

Came for a weekend with friends and wow what a beautiful place! We took full advantage of the dock, the kitchen, and the firepit it’s all well thought out and comfortable for our group of 6. Playing pool and then jumping in the lake was certainly a highlight for us. We will definitely book for a week next year. Thank you Tania and Eric for sharing your beautiful place with us!

My husband and I wanted to go somewhere special, with extended family, to celebrate a special Wedding Anniversary. The photos and descriptions online of Bells’ Dream Lakehouse, drew us in, and when we went, the reality did not disappoint. The couple seem to be very caring hosts, as they have added some small touches to make you feel so welcome. After our car journey, we really felt like a coffee and a tea, and in the kitchen, there was a great selection for both, just waiting for us. It is touches like this that set them apart from other places we have visited. Every area of the house is stunning, yet somehow manages to feel so home-like and welcoming. Our party loved all the accommodation on offer, as it was all very clean, very spacious and had everything we needed to relax and enjoy our time together. If you wanted to have some chill time by yourself, there was space to do that. There is a cute bed-cum-reading nook area on the upper landing, and we loved that! The kitchen is very well-equipped, so if you enjoy cooking and want the equipment you need to hand, you are all set. There is a good-sized dining table inside, as well as outside on the wrap-around deck. You will get a wonderful view of the Lake from both places. The view from the living room of the Lake is simply beautiful and you are immediately drawn to it. There is a great dock with Muskoka chairs, just beckoning you to come out and sit and take in the view. In our time there, we enjoyed canoeing and swimming in the Lake, which was great fun. They also have paddleboards, as well as outdoor games to get some competition going. At night, our favourite place was around the firepit, with a glass of wine in one hand, marshmallows for toasting in the other, and we just relaxed after a beautiful day with family. Will we go again? Absolutely.

I recently had a very relaxing vacation at Bell’s Dream Lake House. Beautiful accommodations & fabulous views. All the amenities you could possibly need to enjoy your stay are provided (& then some!) Canoeing on Bark Lake was highlight & we enjoyed some relaxing, peaceful nature walks. Enjoyed the sunset views relaxing on the dock. Definitely in our future vacation plans – worth every penny!! If I could give this cottage 100 stars ⭐️ I would!! This is truly the most beautiful, well equipped cottage I have ever stayed in. The decor is magazine worthy – and the entire space is perfectly designed for any configuration of cottagers, whether for a couples trip, single family, multiple families, etc. with lots of space to spread out & enjoy both togetherness and privacy! The kitchen is so well-equipped, far above & beyond anything I have ever experienced in a vacation rental. Cooking meals in that beautiful space was an absolute pleasure – gorgeous views, huge beautiful dining tables (inside & outside), and a large comfortable livingroom open to the kitchen as well. Beds were super comfy & lots of sleeping options available. Every bedroom is stunning! Outdoor space is beyond our expectations. Huge upper deck off kitchen/main living space that offered incredible views & tons of extra space to spread out & enjoy some solitude even if there with a larger group! Fire pit was awesome with tons of comfy Adirondack chairs. Enormous extended dock that offers ample space for many people to congregate waterside .. and you’ll want to!! The lake is quiet, very clean & as a bonus is fairly shallow (you can touch bottom for quite a ways out which is great with kids!) We experienced the most beautiful sunsets from both the upper deck & down on the dock! In terms of amenities – this cottage offers an abundance; Paddle boards, kayaks, life jackets, kids playhouse, sauna, bbq, bocce, fire pit, pool table, ping pong, and the most beautiful corn hole boards I’ve ever seen! Not to mention the natural beauty of Bark Lake itself for swimming & hiking. The little town nearby is great for a wander & shopping if needed. Needless to say I HIGHLY recommend this cottage & location. What could be better? It’s the most beautiful vacation home I’ve ever stayed in, on the most beautiful, secluded, clean lake I’ve ever visited! I can’t wait to return and hope to have the opportunity to share this gem with my extended family & friends many times over in the years to come! I had an amazing stay on Bark lake at Bell’s Dream. The property is gorgeous, inside and out. I spent a lot of time enjoying the outdoor space as the weather was favorable. The dock is huge which was great for sitting down to read or enjoying the sun with friends. We took a dip in the lake and it felt great. It was so clean and refreshing. The view of the park land across the lake is so peaceful and beautiful to look at! we had a fire one night and enjoyed the large space for this. And you will be amazed at the nightly sunset before your eyes!!! Retreating indoors was so comforting with a large kitchen and living/dining open concept area overlooking the view of the lake. The kitchen was so well equipped and we enjoyed cooking in and dining in front of that spectacular view! And just outside the sliding door you had access to a large deck to overlook the view also! You will get a very good nights rest as the beds are so comfortable. It is a very modern and comforting space with bright uplifting feels. I felt so well rested at the cottage and cannot wait to return there soon. Thank you for renting out a lovely cottage for others to enjoy:)

We booked this property to bring up our family with the hopes it would be as great as the photos show. It was even better! The view from the deck is so calming and then the sunsets out on the dock are spectacular. Every single detail is thought out for a next level stay from super comfy beds to fully stocked kitchen and outdoor play area. Because of all the different living spaces we never felt on top of each other and I loved having the master bedroom on the main floor away from the others. We did not want to leave and truly look forward to booking again next summer.
