Step inside and ascend a few steps into the functional kitchen and dining area. The unique stov-ink-orator adds a touch of nostalgia for basic cooking, while the full-sized refrigerator ensures plenty of storage for all your culinary needs. Just outside the front entrance, a private barbecue awaits for those evenings when grilling under the open sky is part of the plan.
The heart of Marsh View is undoubtedly its screened-in sunroom. With comfortable seating and a TV, it’s the ideal spot to unwind while taking in the picturesque views of the wetlands. Whether you’re savoring a peaceful morning coffee or capping off the night with a glass of wine, this serene space is sure to become your favorite retreat.

- Wifi is not reliable, and should not be relied on for working purposes
- Electric vehicles: This property is not suitable for EVs
- Since the dock is shared, guests are not permitted to dock boats there
- Watercraft are available seasonally when conditions allow (typically Victoria Day to Thanksgiving, depending on water levels, safety, and weather); refunds will not be provided if conditions prevent use.
Waterfront
Entry to the water is off the beach or dock, with shallow walk in entry from the sandy beach, or jump in (feet first only - no diving) from the dock. The sandy beach is cleared of weeds annually. The dock area has weed growth. The large sandy beach and swim area is great for children and non-swimmers. There are some weeds, but it’s generally good for swimming. The waterfront faces northeast, providing wonderful sunrise views from the beach, as well as from the cottage.Close-By Attractions

Bobcaygeon boasts one of Ontario's largest suppliers of shoes and swimwear (Bigley's), as well as elegant home decor shops, unique gift shops, sporting supplies and services, and beautiful clothing stores. - Bobcaygeon Wilderness Park. This 8-acre lot of mature forest is open to hiking, cycling, cross country skiing, and nature interpretation, with trails that are built to best-practice standards and accessible to all, including those who are physically challenged.(25 mins)
- Kawartha Highlands Provincial Park. Kawartha Highlands Signature Site is the largest park in southern Ontario after Algonquin Provincial Park, and offers backcountry canoeing, camping, and hiking in any season.(10 mins)
