The primary bedroom features a comfortable Queen bed, while the second bedroom includes a Queen bed and a set of built-in bunks, complete with their very own bookshelf—perfect for late-night ghost stories and shared laughter.
The lower level of the cottage boasts a charming kitchen with a delightful diner-style table overlooking the tranquil Oxtongue Lake. Fully equipped with everything you'll need while on holiday, this kitchen invites you to prepare delicious meals and enjoy them with your family. - Rentals include a cleaning service; however, the cottage must be left in a tidy condition
- This cottage faces west, with beautiful sunset views. There is full sun at the waterfront by12pm.
- The dock can accommodate boats up to 12’
Waterfront
The cottage waterfront has a sandy/silty bottom, deepening to 4-6ft deep off the dock. There are some weeds but it’s generally good for swimming.Close-By Attractions
- Algonquin Provincial Park. Algonquin Provincial Park has 7,635 square kilometres of forests, bogs, lakes and rivers. There are many hiking trails, a Discovery Program, Visitor's Centre, Logging Museum and Art Centre at the Park. (10 mins)
- Ragged Falls Provincial Park. The falls are beautiful, one of the top 10 waterfalls in Ontario, demonstrating the powerful, erosive force of glacial meltwater. A short trail leads from the parking lot to a lookout of the thundering whitewater falls. (5 mins)
- Limberlost Forest and Wildlife Reserve.The Limberlost Forest and Wildlife Reserve is a publicly accessible private year-round wilderness haven with twenty private lakes and more than 10,000 unspoiled acres of mixed forest, with more than 70 km of hiking and biking trails, free to the public. (30 mins)
- Dorset Lookout Tower. Visitors are welcome to climb to the observation deck, which is 142 metres (465 feet) above Lake of Bays, and enjoy the view from the tree-top lookout as well as ground level lookouts. (25 mins)
- Robinson’s General Store. This famous general store is a "must-see" for anyone visiting the Muskoka or Haliburton area. The store has been owned and operated by the same family since 1921, and now sprawls over 14,000 sq.ft. of retail space. (25 mins)
