Upstairs, three inviting bedrooms offer a peaceful retreat after a day of lake adventures, alongside a bright 4-piece bathroom with in-suite laundry. The well-equipped kitchen opens to a dining area framed by big windows and beautiful lake views, while the cozy living room's propane fireplace provides a warm spot to unwind.
On the deck, a full dining table, 4-piece conversation set, and shady umbrellas make it perfect for relaxation any time of day, from morning coffee to evening BBQs. Just steps away, let the evening unfold around the crackling fire pit, a favorite spot for storytelling, s'mores, and starlit conversation.

Things you need to know:
- A maximum of 1 dog is welcome (no other pets permitted)
- This cottage is in the Township of Algonquin Highlands; Licence #STR25-00073. The Municipal STR Licence restricts the cottage to maximum 8 people at any given time during your stay. The Municipality requires rental guests sign a Rental Guest Code of Conduct. It will be sent to you upon booking for electronic signature.
- Please note that, according to the municipality’s bylaws, all dogs must be leashed or tethered on the property when outside. Dogs are not permitted to roam leash-free.
- Linens are provided – please bring your own outdoor towels
- Post-departure cleaning is arranged immediately following your check out time. Please ensure the short pre-departure cleaning checklist is completed and you have fully checked out of the cottage by your departure time to avoid any additional cleaning fees.
- Watercraft are available seasonally when conditions allow (typically Victoria Day to Thanksgiving, depending on water levels, safety, and weather); refunds will not be provided if conditions prevent use.
- Electric vehicles: Not suitable at cottage, but EV Charging station at the Dorset recreation centre, about a 5-10min walk from the cottage
- Parking: Room for six vehicles

- Some stairs, but there's a railing to hold onto. At least one main floor bedroom and bathroom, one bathroom with walk in shower and grab bar(s) for shower.
- Outside there are stairs without a railing which could pose a challenge.
Waterfront
The property offers approximately 115 feet of waterfront with a shallow, sandy/pebble walk-in area ideal for young children. Guests can wade about 6 feet before the depth drops to 10–12 feet off the dock. The water is relatively clear with a mostly sandy bottom, few to no weeds, and fishing is possible with a license.Sun Exposure

There is a boat launch and 2 marinas within minutes of the cottage. Long dock with cleats available to tie a boat up with. The dock is generally in place between the Victoria Day weekend and the end of September, water levels permitting.Close-By Attractions
- Dorset. Walking distance to "Pizza on Earth" for stone-oven pizza (and weekend bagels), plus an LCBO, ice cream shop, and two restaurants.
- A "must-see" Muskoka/Haliburton landmark, family-owned since 1921 and now spanning 14,000 sq.ft. of retail space. (2 mins).
- Dorset Lookout Tower. Climb 142 metres (465 feet) above Lake of Bays for tree-top and ground-level views. (3 mins)
