A Wave From It All at Boiler Beach is a traditional 2-story family Lake Huron cottage rental, set on a spacious lot, directly across the road from beautiful Lake Huron. This cottage reminds us of the way things were - simple, clean, comfortable and relaxing.
There is a large deck and spacious front and side yard areas in which to enjoy the outdoors! The deck, which is adjacent to the kitchen, has patio furniture, including chairs, 2 tables, and a patio umbrella so you can enjoy your meals in an open-air atmosphere. There is also a first floor walk-in games room where the indoor and outdoor play equipment is kept for easy access. Go ahead and challenge your family to a round of ping pong or take it outside with a game of croquet!
Pristine sand beaches and freshwater lake, great for sunbathing, swimming, jogging, kyaking, canoeing, paddle boarding, windsurfing and kite surfing. Enjoy leisurely strolls in sunlight and moonlight, feeling the warm sand and cool water on your feet, watching the sunset, or treasure hunting for ancient fossils and seashells.
The cottage has an open concept kitchen/living/dining area with large windows facing the lake. Original pine wood floors and vaulted ceilings.
The large living room has a comfortable sofa and a variety of different rocking chairs, all which look out across the lawn and tree-scaped privacy to the lake. A cassette player, CD player, flat screen TV and DVD player, and selection of DVDs, are provided for your entertainment. There is also a trunk filled with playing cards and board games. Dive right in and have some good old-fashioned family fun!
Kitchen has fridge/freezer, stove/oven, microwave, coffee maker, electric mixer, blender, 4-slice toaster. Pots, pans, cooking utensils, dish soap, paper towels, as well as new flatware and dishes, are provided for your use.
The cottage has 3 cosy bedrooms. The first bedroom is decorated in soft pastel colors, and has a double size bed, closet, dresser with mirror, and small rocking chair. The second bedroom is also decorated in soft pastel colors, and has a double size bed, closet, and small dresser with hanging mirror on the wall. The third bedroom is decorated in a rustic style, and includes another double bed, closet and a dresser with a hanging mirror on the wall.
When you walk out of the front door of the cottage and cross about 160 feet of rolling lawn you will come to a tall, arched, opening in the cedar hedge. On the other side of the privacy hedge is Boiler Beach Road. Across the road is a very short path through the sand to the glistening waters of Lake Huron.
Sometimes the lake is rough and wild and perfect for windsurfing and kite surfing. Sometimes there is a gentle breeze and the lake is as tranquil and flat as glass, an ideal time to skip stones, splash around on an inner tube, or try your hand at paddle boarding. On days when the waves are high there is less beach. Those are great days to explore the many different beaches along the shoreline, or spend the day at Station Beach by the harbour, or take the kids to the splash pad at the local community center. Your options for fun in the surf, sun and sand are limitless!
Out and about, the town of Kincardine is famous for its Scottish ancestry and hospitality. Enjoy golf, shopping and restaurants just a short distance away. Make sure you attend the performance of the pipe band every Saturday night in the summer months.

Waterfront
Directly across a quiet road is the beach entrance. There is several yards of beach grass and trees with a pathway leading to the water. Depending on Lake Huron water and wave levels there will be a few feet to several yards of sandy beach. Entry to the water is sandy/pebbly and deepens only gradually. Although the water is sandy underfoot, different wave action may bring pebbles or stones - swimming shoes are recommended for any Ontario lake.Close-By Attractions
