Waterfront
The cottage waterfront has a rock bottom, shallow walk in entry is not possible. There is good swimming off the dock, with few to no weeds.Close-By Attractions
- Torrance Barrens Conservation Area and Dark Sky Preserve. Torrance Barrens is world renown for its astronomical value. Few places in the world offer such an accessible opportunity to view the Milky Way, our home galaxy. The park also features hiking, mountain biking, and snowmobiling trails. (20 mins)
- Muskoka Discovery Centre. Discover Muskoka at this one-of-a-kind museum, inspiring curiosity and feeding the imagination for persons aged 1 to 101. Kids will love the Kidzone! (20 mins)
- Walker’s Point Lookout Trail. Enjoy this 0.8-km out-and-back trail near Muskoka Lakes, Ontario. Generally considered an easy route, it takes an average of 15 min to complete. This trail is great for birding, cross-country skiing, and hiking, and it's unlikely you'll encounter many other people while exploring. The trail is open year-round and is beautiful to visit anytime. (5 mins)
