Lake Rosseau, Muskoka
Lake Rosseau is one of Muskoka’s most famous and scenic lakes, covering about 63 square kilometres. Known for its sparkling water, granite shorelines, and beautiful islands, it offers classic cottage country views. The lake connects to Lake Joseph and Lake Muskoka, creating an extensive boating system that is popular all summer long.
Fishing includes smallmouth bass, lake trout, and northern pike. Cottages range from historic Muskoka properties with boathouses and wide porches to impressive luxury lakefront homes with expansive docks and sunset views. Nearby communities such as Rosseau, Port Carling, and Windermere offer charming shops, dining, marinas, and seasonal events.
