About This Cottage

Seguin Lakehouse was a family home for many years on the shores of Oastler Lake. The cottage has passed down to the next generation, who have refurbished it and made it available to share with you! A sprawling bungalow with views over the lake, Seguin Lakehouse is a prudent choice for those looking for something with style, comfort and convenience, all with a lake vista and great waterfront.

Stepping inside, the first thing that greets us is a very nice kitchen and dining area. Seguin Lakehouse is ownerd by an award winning chef, so you can rest assured this area will be set up with top notch meals in mind. Through the hall you will find the living area (with a view of the lake of course) complete with satellite TV and fireplace for cool nights and colder seasons. There is a bedroom off of the living room which also has a access from the main hallway on the other side. There is a powder room between the first two bedrooms, and at the end of the hall you'll find the main bath and the master bedroom. There are laundry facilities in the large main bathroom to complete the amenities.

Outside, you'll find yourself on the shores of one of the more interesting lakes in the area.

Parry Sound has a lot to offer you - whether you are sports lover and want to take in the Bobby Orr Museum, beautiful scenery for the artists and nature-lovers, The Stockey Center for the Arts for those of you looking for shows, and of course a variety of shops and restaurants. We did mention that the owner is an award winning chef - you'll be happy to know that your stay includes a complimentary pizza meal at the highest rated establishment in Parry Sound!

It is important to note that the owner lives on the lower level. Please note, however that your privacy is completely respected and the waterfront your own. The lower level has a separate entrance and there is no need for the owner to enter the upper level. The owner's commitment to his business consumes virtually all of his time during the warm season months, so it is unlikely you will see him at all during these times.
