About This Cottage

This great cottage is in a four season paradise - golf, hiking and cycling in summer and only 30-minutes from Mt Tremblant for everything winter. And when you are done with all the activity, the location on Lac Beavan offers the perfect base for relaxing by the water, swimming, kayaking and fishing.

Laurentian Serenity delivers all that and more. A peaceful getaway on attractive lawned gardens with a beautiful deck to take in the views, and a very special cottage as well.

This beautifully decorated and presented home will meet all your needs for a great vacation. The bedrooms are all well-furnished and comfortable for a great night's sleep after a busy day on the dock or out-and-about. After an aperitif at the bar table, enjoy creating great meals for the family to eat in the adjacent dining area or out on the patio. Then relax in either the cosy living room, TV and family room, or for the more active - the basement games area. There you'll find table tennis, foosball and a hockey net….have fun!

The waterside area is all about fun and relaxation. From seating areas on the deck to lounging chairs on the lawn to the dock and sandy walkout to the beautiful waters of Lac Beavan.

There's some reeds to one side of the dock and to the other there's some sand and shallow clear water access. The water deepens gradually and is about 6-feet at the end of the dock.

Grocery stores are only minutes away from the cottage in Huberdau, and it's a 4-minute drive to Gil's Beefeater Restaurant if you feel the need to take a break from self-catering.

Trivia

The Laurentian Mountains (French: Laurentides) is a mountain range in southern Québec north of the St. Lawrence and Ottawa Rivers, rising to a highest point of 1,166 metres (3,825 ft) at Mont Raoul Blanchard, northeast of Québec City. Although Laurentides is one of Québec's official regions, the mountain range runs through four other Québec regions: Capitale-Nationale, Outaouais, Lanaudière, and Mauricie. Extending into central Ontario, the foothills of the Laurentian range are known as the Opeongo Hills, or the Madawaska Highlands. The Laurentian Mountain range is one of the oldest mountain ranges in the world, containing rocks deposited before the Cambrian Period 540 million years ago. (Source - Wikipedia)
