Looking for something close to the GTA - A place where you could spend a week or two at the cottage but still drive into the office if they need you? Are fishing and boating your passions at any time of year? Need something that is clean and comfy but still retains a cottage feel? How about a large yard with plenty of sun? If you answered "yes" to any or all of these, Cook's Bay Cottage may be right for you!

This cottage was once a traditional seasonal cottage on Cook's Bay, the largest and southernmost of Lake Simcoe's Bays. It has been updated by the new owners and is suited for occupancy at any time of year in comfort. It houses 3 bedrooms, a living room with a large bay window overlooking the yard and waterfront, a nice dining area and traditional cottage kitchen. There is also cable TV and WiFi to help you keep in touch with the world. An extensive lawn leading to the waterfront will surely occupy some of your time here, and a waterfront fire pit and long dock complete the cottage experience.

The cottage is located in Gilford in the Southern part of Innisfil. It is close to marinas and boat launches - perfect for those who want to take on some nautical pursuits in Cook's Bay and Lake Simcoe. The area is one of the best in Ontario for outlet malls, so if you tire of the waterfront, some retail therapy might be a great way to spend a day or two.

Coming in the winter? Cook's Bay is popular with ice-fishermen, and a weekend here doesn't require hours of driving. A fireplace keeps you warm during cooler times and the cottage retains all the charm it has in the summer months.

It's not easy to find a waterfront rental at this price - and finding it this close to home should make Cook's Bay Cottage a popular choice!
