The main floor features three bedrooms and two full bathrooms, along with a fully renovated kitchen boasting ample counter space. A separate bar area with everything you need for your morning coffee/tea, and, your evening cocktail ensures convenience during late-night games around the dining table. The sunken living room provides comfort and luxury, ideal for movie nights with loved ones. For added privacy, the three main floor bedrooms are situated in a separate wing, minimizing noise disturbances.
Downstairs, an open-concept family/games room awaits, complete with a TV, a bar area, and ping-pong table. If work beckons during your vacation, a small office space on the lower level allows for productivity. Three additional bedrooms and the third full bathroom complete the basement layout, offering comfortable accommodations for all.

- Rentals include a cleaning service; however, the cottage must be left in a tidy condition
- This cottage faces northwest, with sunsets visible from the back deck
- This property can accommodate parking for up to 4 vehicles only
Waterfront
The waterfront has a silty bottom with some stones and weeds. Guests can wade in shallow water, the lake is very shallow, up to 5ft depth from 50ft out from the shoreline. There are a few surface weeds from time to time in the summer months.Close-By Attractions
- Treetop Eco Adventure Park. Eco adventure park offering suspension bridges, log swings, Tarzan rope swings, zip lines, climbing walls, beach volleyball and more! (25 mins)
- Purple Woods Conservation Area. Purple Woods Conservation Area is a great place to hike, year round, with a spectacular southern view, access to the Oak Ridges Trail, and a Sugar Shack and accessible Discovery Walk trails. Spring and fall migratory songbirds, summer Monarch butterflies, and beautiful fall colours make this conservation area an all-seasons destination. In March, the property is home to a large and actively tapped 150-year-old sugar maple forest and holds the annual Purple Woods Maple Syrup Festival. (20 mins)
- Palmer Park and Splash Pad.Take a walk a long the scenic waterfront or bring the kids to the park, which features a splash pad! Cafes and restaurants are just feet away for when you start to get hungry, but if you prefer a picnic there are also plenty of picnic tables. (15 mins)
- Scugog Shores Museum Village.The Village shows what daily life was like in Scugog from the mid to late 1800s, and includes 11 restored buildings, heritage flower, herb and vegetable gardens, and Ojibway Heritage Interpretive Lands (10 mins)
- Golf.Within half an hour are Sunnybrae Golf Club, Crestwood Golf Club, Summerlea Golf Club, and Golfers Dream Golf Club, or practice your drives or enjoy mini putt with the family at Sandbaggerz Driving Range and Mini Putt.
- Winter.If you’re interested in skiing, within half an hour you’ll find Dagmar Ski Resort, Borderline Snow School, and the Durham Nordic Ski Club. Ice fishing is available on the lake, but you’ll need to provide your own equipment. Snowshoe trails are available at Glen Major Forest. (35 mins)
