Port Carling is located at the hub of the "Big Three" lakes - Lake Muskoka, Lake Rosseau and Lake Joseph - an area that, in addition to hosting generations of cottagers, sees its share of celebrities and long-distance travellers wanting to share in the experience. In town, there are quaint shops, restaurants, ice cream and snack shops. Short drives take you to parks, golf courses and beaches. The towns of Parry Sound, Huntsville, Bracebridge, Bala and Gravenhurst are all accessible to you. Are you an artist? Bring your paints and capture the scenery that tantalized the Group of Seven. With so many activities to do in this popular town, this cottage is in the centre of all the action while still providing peace and quiet to unwind as it is located minutes away from the town in a quiet neighbourhood. If you are looking to stay in or relax at the cottage, you will be treated to a newly renovated interior, spacious living rooms and large TV's perfect for a movie night. There are two levels in the cottage, each with 3 bedrooms, a bathroom, laundry and full kitchen, living and dining areas.

Close By Attractions
- Hanna Park. Located less than 200 metres away on Mirror Lake, guests will have easy access to one of the top public beaches in the area! It has a great beach area for swimming, a fantastic and elaborate playground for kids, a basketball and volleyball court and a covered pavilion for picnics to escape the sun.
- Port Carling Wall. Only a 10-minute walk away, although it could be 15 if you decide to enjoy the scenic views on the way, you can see a truly breathtaking "Welcome to Port Carling" mosaic which is sure to grab your attention. It is 111-by-45-foot and comprises over 9,000 separate pictures that put together form a huge mosaic of a steamboat and is affectionately known as "The Wall". As you get closer, you will see each individual photo captures an individual moment of time from residents of Port Carling from 1860 - 1960. You can pair this with a nice hike by doing the "Port Carling Mural Walk" which is a 2.5km hike.
- Hiking Trails. You will have no shortage of scenic hiking, biking and snowmobile trails around the area. Nearby trails include the H.N. Crossley Nature Reserve, Hazelwood Trail and Huckleberry Rock Lookout Trail.
- Art Galleries. If you are looking to get in touch with your creative side then Port Carling is a perfect place to capture monumental paintings and explore the history of the group of Seven. There are multiple art galleries and exbibits just a short drive away
- Lake cruises. One of Muskoka's nicest attractions are cruises to view the beautiful surrounding lakes. The cottage is just a 10-minute walk away from the nearest docking station leaving you well equipped to touch the big surrounding lakes as quick as you'd like
Fall & Winter Activities. There is always something happening year-round in Muskoka. Whether it's the Cranberry Festival, Fall fairs, butter tart crawls, golfing, music festivals, or hiking and cycling, you will have no shortage of events whether you're coming in the summer or winter.
