Inside, the cottage consists of 2 floors for optimal relaxation with three bedrooms upstairs and a bedroom plus a den downstairs, comfortably sleeping 8 adults and 4 children. There is a foosball table, puzzles, board games, 2 televisions and 2 fireplaces to help keep guests entertained when relaxing indoors. The outdoor enthusiasts will have no shortage of options when venturing outside, with a dock, canoe, pedal boat, kayaks, Stand Up Paddleboard, outdoor shower, and fire pit.
Fully renovated in 2022 to include luxurious amenities such as quartz countertops, there's a full kitchen with dishwasher, laundry station, 2.5 bathrooms, 4 spacious sunny bedrooms, den/lounge, kitchenette, screened in gazebo for outdoor dining/lounging, BBQ, outdoor shower, and an open concept living room on the main floor that's designed to optimize lake views. This is the ultimate cottage experience.
On the exterior, there is a large deck overlooking the lake and a dock, facing south for both beautiful sunrise and sunset views. In front of the cottage there is a fire pit and a propane fire table, each with ample seating so you can enjoy the evening fires and great conversations.
Fall and snowy months offer great outdoor activities as skiing, ice fishing, fat biking, snowshoeing, snowmobiling and, if conditions permit, ice skating. This 1+acre property has a picturesque waterfront and a beautiful tree canopy for guests to enjoy.

- For 2023, landscaping visits are Tuesday & Thursday to tend to grass seed watering
- Good snow tires are required for winter access
- Rentals include a cleaning service; however, the cottage must be left in a tidy condition
- Waterfront is a western exposure
Waterfront
The sunsets off the dock are amazing! There are some weeds, but the water is generally good for swimming off the dock.Close-By Attractions
- Gillies Grove and House Nature Reserve/Historic Site. A 20th-century estate located in a forested area at the edge of the Ottawa River. There you'll see a stand of old growth forest encircling a cleared area with a handsome, Colonial Revival house constructed from the white pine of the forest itself. (40 mins)
- Morris Island Conservation Area.This 47 hectare site consists of forested woodlands and wetlands. With 6 km of trails, this beautiful island encourages you to enjoy the best of Ontario's weather throughout the seasons: Hike, canoe, kayak, dog walk, jog, fish, snowshoe, cross country ski and much more. (40 mins)
- Mill of Kintail Conservation Area. This Conservation Area features extensive hiking and skiing trails accessible year-round. It is also home of the R. Tait Mackenzie Museum. (40 mins)
- Golf. There are several golf courses just a half hour from the cottage - Mountain Creek Golf Course, Pakenham Highlands Golf Club, and Madawaska Golf Club, and several others just a little further - Sand Point Golf and Country Club (40 mins), Dragonfly Golf Links at Renfrew (40 mins), and The Mississippi Golf Club (45 mins), just to name a few.
- Winter. This is a great location for snowmobiling! OFSC Trail 102 goes by on the lake in front of the cottage. Ice skating is an option on the lake, conditions permitting. For downhill skiing, Calabogie (45 mins) and Mount Pakenham (35 mins) are also nearby. Whitetail Farm Ski Resort offers 12 km of cross country ski trails. (40 mins)
