An extensive shoreline, windows giving you a great view of the lake, the privacy of being the last but one cottage on the road, bright and airy surroundings and modern comforts - From a vacationers point of view, these are the ingredients of a memorable week. And the view from this point IS wonderful.
Point of View is located on Lake Manitouwabing, a jewel of a lake just east of Parry Sound. The lake offers fabulous boating of all types, with islands, bays and open water. Whether you want to do some exploring in a kayak or canoe, or do some water skiing, the lake has a spot for you.
Stepping inside, the first thing you will notice is the floor-to-ceiling windows filling the living room, dining area and kitchen with light and a view of the dock and waterfront. A quick few steps off of the kitchen reveal a sunroom that is the perfect retreat for someone with a coffee/cool drink and a good book. The living room will be a focal point for your stay, with comfortable seating and satellite TV. The master bedroom is also just off the living room, complete with a very elegant 4-piece en suite. Tucked in behind the kitchen is a powder/laundry room. Stairs ascend from the living room to two loft bedrooms and another bathroom.
The lower level boasts another 2 bedrooms and media area and up to 6 people can sleep on this level. This might be the preferred spot for the younger crowd who want to extend their day while mom and dad catch some sleep. For those who absolutely insist on keeping up with office goings-on, there is an office area on this level as well. There is also a 3 piece bathroom. (Please note that the wet bar that appears in some photos is not accessible to guests).
Outside, the property continues to shine, as does the sun. The dock area affords a wonderful lake panorama that beckons exploration with the paddleboat or one of the kayaks. Swimming is fine off the end of the dock, with a ladder for easy coming and going.
Feel little a little non-nautical exploration? The Parry Sound area caters to the cottage crowd. You'll find book stores, restaurants, museums and quaint shops. The Bobby Orr museum and the Stockey Center for the Performing Arts have something for the sports and arts minded. For those with a sweet tooth of a love of coffee, we'd recommend a trip down blackwater road to Orrville, where you'll find the Trail Mix Bakery/Cafe. The Ridge at Manitouwabing offers top notch golf. Deer Run is just 5 km distant for those seeking a more casual/economic option on the links.

Waterfront
There's a small shallow, sandy area to the left of the dock, with water deepening to approximately 7' off the dock. The large, L-shaped dock could accommodate a boat up to 20' in length.
