Nestled close to Dwight and Huntsville, this beautiful retreat offers the ideal base for adventurers and nature lovers alike. With four spacious bedrooms—including a stunning main-floor primary suite with a seating area and luxurious 4-piece ensuite—Northern Lights Chalet provides comfort and style for families and groups.
Upstairs, you’ll find three well-appointed bedrooms along with a 4-piece bathroom, giving everyone their own space to relax after a day of exploring Muskoka. The main floor is the heart of the home, featuring an open-concept kitchen and dining area perfect for gathering over shared meals. The living room’s cathedral ceiling and soaring two-storey windows frame breathtaking western views of the wetlands. From here, it’s not unusual to spot Muskoka wildlife; during our visit, a curious deer kept watch as we enjoyed the outdoor fire pit.
Also on the main floor, you’ll appreciate a convenient 2-piece powder room and a laundry room. Step outside to the walkout deck or the screened porch, where you can take in the serene natural surroundings. In the evenings, gather at the fire pit in the wooded clearing—an ideal spot for storytelling, stargazing, and creating unforgettable cottage memories.
Northern Lights Chalet is more than just a place to stay—it’s the perfect launch pad for exploring Muskoka. Dwight offers charming local gems such as Erika’s Bakery, while Huntsville provides a vibrant arts scene, unique shops, and diverse dining.
