Moonlight Cottage

I’ve stayed at several clrm cottages over the years, and this one is definitely in the top five. The layout is amazing with 2 bdrms + bath on one side and the master + bath on the other. We called it the east wing and the west wing. There’s lots of space and great amenities inside. Outside, the yard by the water is spectacular with humming birds, chipmunks, lawn furniture, and beautiful dappling sunshine all day. I can’t express all the great details, thought and love that went into this cottage, but you feel it when you get there! We had a fantastic week!

The property photos do not do it justice. It’s a gorgeous location with lots of outdoor activity equipment, a kitchen equipped with everything I have in my own home (high quality items unlike most rental) and with tons of work space, a spacious comfy living area with a great view, a walk in master bed closet, high quality linens and towels, on-site laundry and more. Basically anything you could need or want and of high quality. We were there during fall colour time and with colours reflecting in the river the view was stunning. Last but not least, it’s a peaceful place. Loved it!

The cottage is beautifully situated at the bank of the river. We were lucky to be there in the middle of the winter and our kids and dogs loved to walk on the frozen river. The house was very spacious and had everything we needed for the stay. Host left us some good wine and sweets for the kids which was a lovely surprise. We can’t wait to be back to this perfect relaxing place.
