Outside, you'll especially enjoy the pergola patio seating area overlooking the lake, with a chiminea for enjoying campfires at night. Lake Erie Waves is close to many great day trip activities including a 10-minute walk to James Allan Provincial Park which has an incredible sand beach to enjoy, a 25-minute drive from Rock Point Provincial Park which has a viewing platform, 2 km of hiking trails, and sandy beach with sand dunes. The Port Maitland Public Beach is also just a 10-minute drive away and features a historic lighthouse. History and aviation buffs will enjoy visiting the No. 6 RCAF Museum, only a 15-minute drive.
Inside, the living room is comfortably furnished, and there's a smart TV with satellite, HD antenna, and a Roku stick, which can be used for streaming using your own accounts. The music lovers in the group are sure to enjoy the electronic keyboard. You may find yourself relaxing in the living room simply for the incredible view of Lake Erie thanks to the large windows. The kitchen, which includes a dishwasher, is an open-style concept and there is plenty of counter space to allow for meal preparation. The dining table offers seating space for 4 people. On the main level you'll also find a 3-piece bathroom with an accessible shower, and you'll enjoy the comfort of the portable air conditioner and ceiling fan for those warmer days, and the convenience of the washer and dryer.
Upstairs, there are four bedrooms, each with ceiling fans, and there is a 2-piece bathroom. You'll have to draw straws for who gets the spacious master bedroom, which includes a king-sized bed and picture-perfect views of the water. The remaining bedrooms all include double beds.
On the exterior, there is a wrap-around deck with BBQ, and a pergola patio with a chiminea for added coziness while enjoying the view of the lake at night. Although the lake directly in front of the cottage has rocks along the shoreline that make entry there unsuitable, James N. Allan Provincial Park is only a 10-minute walk from the cottage.
