Over all must say the cottage was as pictured and have to agree with previous reviews a great spot on the water with some amazing views. Staying in early June the weather may always be the best so didn’t get into the lake but loved the hot tub! Also loved being so close to town. My reasons for a three star rating is the steep driveway and drive into the cottage very steep hills would not recommend this for anyone with a smaller light vehicle. Also not really any place to go for a walk at the cottage, so we took the pups and went into town for any walks we needed. A pretty spot, clean comfortable cottage a few small improvements are needed to bring the review up.

Chase Bay is awesome! I never knew I could pack so much fun into a “relaxing” weekend! Kayaking, campfires, sunning on the dock, hot-tubbing, hiking, and so much more!!! Tried to take advantage of everything there was to offer. Throw in comfortable beds, a cozy wood stove for heat, clean and quiet surroundings and it all adds up to a PERFECT weekend retreat! Thank you.

My first impression of this cottage was that I was borrowing a friend’s cottage. The place was welcoming and comfortable. There is a beautiful view of the lake from the inside. There are two little islands not too far for those who want a nice swimming challenge. I would definitely go back.

I just wanted to say that everything that was posted or described in your ad for chase bay was pretty much spot on ! The cottage had a really good cottage feel to it . From the various decorations to the beautiful view of the lake . The beds were clean and comfortable ! The washroom was large and clean . The Kitchen had all the appliances and accessories that you would need . We didn’t get around to having a fire but it was there had the temperature dropped . My daughter works from the internet so I had concerns about the wifi connection . She connected with no issues ! The large tv was also great for late night movies ie Netflix and you tube ready . I traditionally swim in Georgian bay which can be quite cold so the warm water of Bobs lake was very inviting . My 89 year old father had little to no trouble getting in an out of the lake due to the flat stones placed as steps . We took advantage of the kayaks, canoe and paddle boats to tour the lake . Very calm most of the time we were there . My daughter really enjoyed the hot tub on the deck ,very easy to operate ! Would recommend to friends !
