This cottage was awesome! So much bigger than the pictures even convey, lots of space inside to relax, cook and play games. Lake Mazinaw is always gorgeous but you really get to appreciate the beauty here! Plus the owners have provided anything you could ever want including kayaks, big water floaties, lawn games and ping pong inside. Great trip!

The hosts had the cottages clean and ready on time. The lake water was fresh, calm and clean to swim in. The water mat (Lily Pad) and Party Float allowed us to enjoy being on/in the water in many different ways. We were able to park a pontoon boat at the end of the dock (rented from Smarts Marina just down the road). The two large cottages allowed for our extended family to enjoy quality time together, but also offered many options for quiet respite as needed. The kitchener were equipped with everything you might need. We were pleasantly surprised to have a day pass for use at Bon Echo park to enjoy the sandy beach and great hiking trails. We absolutely loved our family vacation. There is plenty of space to spread out, with a reasonable balance of communal gathering areas, and private spaces. With the walkout basement it was great to be on multiple levels. Kids were happy. Adults had privacy. The view and easy water access were incredible. Great amenities, including inflatables, grills, multiple outdoor seating areas, We absolutely loved the decks, patios, and also the screened in gazebo. These cottages were great for our family getaway as we had 10 people altogether. The kitchens had everything you could think of including a Keurig coffee maker! The downstairs family room was great for playing ping pong or watching a movie. They have a lily pad that you can swim too along with kayaks and a fire pit to make s’mores. We also enjoyed going to Bon Echo provincial park and getting ice cream from “Tha Maz”. We would recommend this cottage if you are looking for family memories.

Had a great stay here during the month of July. Cottage was super clean, lots of good amenities and only a couple hours drive outside of Toronto. Bon Echo is a beautiful park with a lot of history and a a great view. Great lake for for swimming and kayaking. Will definitely be coming back in the future 🙂

Great getaway from it all. The cottage is excellent for any size group with activities to keep you busy or cozy spots to relax and unwind. The area is scenic where you can create many memories to last a lifetime. The cottage has everything you could need to feel like your home away from home. It is also located very close to town should you want to explore the area. Looking forward to returning in a few weeks to enjoy this great spot.

We absolutely love this place and we will keep coming to visit. The property is gorgeous and the accommodations are cozy. Top of the line beds and bedding. This place will not disappoint. So close to Bon Echo park and the ability to scoot next door and enjoy the amenities this park has to offer. This cottage has everything. Take a Kayak or snuggle up in front of the fire, you will not regret it. The view is second to none. All the balconies have glass to enjoy the water frontage view. Thanks so much

After being shut in because of Covid we ventured out for our Anniversary. Bon Echo Escape did not disappoint. It was amazing. The owners were kind and helpful and thought of EVERY need. Location was beautiful. The Moonrise over the lake was unforgettable. The cottages were beyond comfortable. We loved it so much we returned. We have stayed in both sides and both are winners. This is our new go to spot.
