The cottage itself is a sanctuary, recently renovated (2024) with three bedrooms and one bathroom to accommodate up to six guests comfortably. Whether you're seeking intimate family time or a getaway with friends, The Boardwalk provides the perfect backdrop for making memories. For those desiring added privacy or a peaceful retreat, the Family Area bunkie awaits, complete with a cozy seating area and a Keurig for your morning coffee rituals.
Outdoor enthusiasts will find themselves spoiled for choice with the array of amenities available at The Boardwalk. A spacious patio table beckons for gatherings around the fire pit, where stories are shared and marshmallows can be roasted under the canopy of stars. Additionally, a second fire pit by the back door, conveniently located beside the BBQ and traditional picnic table, invites you to grill up a feast while relishing the crisp evening air.

Things you need to know:
- Dogs are welcome, but no other pets please
- Arrival time is 4:00 pm and departure time is 11:00 am for all reservations
- Garbage and recycling removal is required prior to departure
- Linens and towels are provided, but please bring your own outdoor towels
- Rentals include a cleaning service; however, the cottage must be left in a tidy condition
- This cottage faces north with 180 degree views of sunrises and sunsets over Georgian Bay
Waterfront
The cottage waterfront is very deep and swimming is not permitted, but there is a lovely seating area overlooking beautiful Georgian Bay, and there are waterfront views from the cottage.Close-By Attractions
- Bruce Trail. Ideally located if hiking is your passion! The Bruce Trail runs through the entire peninsula, with the start and end of the trail right in Tobermory, at the stone cairn.
- Bruce Peninsula National Park and The Grotto.Just minutes from the cottage you'll find the Bruce Peninsula National Park, featuring towering cliffs of the Niagara Escarpment plunging into the blue waters of Georgian Bay. World famous hiking in a rugged landscape, home to orchids, ferns and black bears. Be sure to book a parking time slot in advance and hike to The Grotto, Bruce County's most popular attraction, a bustling hot spot visited by hundreds of thousands of people every year. Its turquoise pool of water and intricate cave structures are mesmerizing! (10 mins)
- Fathom Five National Marine Park.The islands and waters off the tip of the Bruce Peninsula, in Lake Huron and Georgian Bay, make up Fathom Five National Marine Park. Boat tours leaving from Little Tub Harbour in Tobermory can take you over shipwrecks to iconic Flowerpot Island. There you can wander the shoreline (bring your camera!), or take the rugged hiking trail across it, or arrange a scuba diving expedition beneath the crystal clear water. (5 mins)
- Beaches.There are several beaches in the area along the beautiful, rugged, Georgian Bay shoreline; Singing Sands Beach and Trails (15 mins), Dunks Bay (5 mins), and Little Cove Beach. (10 mins)
