The Perfect Cottage for Our Annual Fall/Winter Getaway

We’ve stayed at Bancroft Lake House each November for the last 4 years with another couple, our dogs and our toddler (being the newest addition)! This cottage is an easy drive from the GTA, making it the perfect choice in the late fall when there is likely to be snow on the ground. Parking, even in the winter is easy for 3 cars and the overall layout of the cottage & property is great for two couples/families vacationing together. It’s so refreshing to see how welcome our dogs are! Between the dog bed, towels and food/water bowls provided, it’s clear these owners are just as happy to host our pets as they are us! The kitchen is a good size for several people cooking at once. We are often out and about during the day so spend time in the morning making breakfast, packing lunch & getting dinner prepared. The bedrooms are all a good size and there is plenty of space in both the master & second (red) bedroom for a pack-n-play. Overall, we’ve had several great vacations here and can’t wait to come back!
