Perfect vacation spot!

We had a wonderful week at Steampunk cottage and found it exceeded our expectations.  It is spotlessly clean, beautifully (and uniquely) decorated, and has so many amenities and supplies, there are too many to list.  Everyone in our party agreed that the care and attention of the owners is evident in every nook and every corner. The kitchen had all the appliances and tools needed for just about any meal you want to prepare and is very clean and organized.  We’ve rented cottages before that had sufficient plates, bowls, pots, etc, but steampunk cottage had more than enough!  And it all seems so clean and well maintained. There are soft cushions for the muskoka chairs, a stocked fire pit, watercraft, and the list goes on for outside fun.  And there are at least 8 outdoor seating areas between the deck and down by the water.  We moved from one spot to another based on where the sun was…always a cool place for lounges and chairs.  The little deck at the waters edge was shady almost all the time (cocktail hour spot!), and  the chairs on the dock were lovely for morning coffees.  Swimming was fine, if a little weedy, but a clear space has been made around the deck.  Kayaking around the lake was terrific. Bedrooms are roomy and beds are comfy, and 3 separate indoor sitting areas gave everyone a quiet space when needed.  Bathrooms are well-stocked and very modern. Our hosts provided lots of information and instructions…we never were at a loss with how something worked.  If we had a question, they were readily available by text.  Even the location is great….very quiet and private. Only one other cottage nearby (at least as far as we could see). Well worth the cost!  We totally enjoyed our time here!
