Lovely cozy cottage

We spent a week in September at the Oak Lake Retreat cottage. The cottage is very nice and cozy. The bedrooms are beautifully decorated, as actually the whole cottage. The washroom was very clean, with lots of supplies. So is the kitchen. The water cooler and heater are a nice touch. No need to use a kettle. Big Smart TV for cozy evenings. Awesome view of the lake right from the couch. We were not lucky with the weather, as this huge wind storm hit, but we still had a couple of days to enjoy the sun on the deck and the big dock. The lake water was clean and shallow. And swimming from the dock is good, but it would be very nice to have access to the water from the shore for kids and dogs. Right now, it is not possible due to fallen trees and lots of other degraded organic materials. It is actually pointed out on the website, which is earnest. We enjoyed the time in the cottage. And our dog has lots of fun! This is a very comfy place to spend time on the beautiful lake for a small family or with a couple of friends. We will recommend it to our friends.
