Just What We Needed

Our stay at Oz Landing was just what we needed. A group of PhD students extremely tired and in dire need of a break — Oz Landing did not disappoint…in fact, it exceeded expectations. The space was extremely tidy, well-organized, and so comfy. Not only that, but the kitchen was well stocked with spices and oils. They have everything you could possibly think of…washer and dryer, dishwasher, kettle and coffee machine….even a blender, if you can believe. All appliances were new and worked well, and they had loads of games and activities to enjoy. From board games to darts to boats, we weren’t bored at all. And when we needed rest, the beds were comfortable and warm. Even the top bunk bed was spacious enough to sit up in, which is always nice (especially if you’re a family with little ones). The hosts were also very responsive, which is always nice. My friends and I decided this MUST be a yearly thing. We will certainly be following the yellow brick road back to Oz Landing next summer.
