Excellent time

The owner was an excellent host. His pre-trip details were accurate and made for no need at all for me to need to reach out to him. The cottage was spotless and had an extremely well equipped kitchen. There was ample parking for 2 cars. The hills leading to the cottage require you to watch your speed, but are completely manageable. I have three children who have large age gaps and it’s very difficult to find vacations that will suit the needs of all of their age ranges (23, 20, and 13). Everyone had something to do. My youngest spent the entire week fishing off the doc, and walking the dog on the road was a really great work out. We got to see moose, deer, and plenty of chipmunks. The neighbours are friendly and it’s a very peaceful area. The owner’s diligence to water conservation, and making sure that the cottage was well equipped with bottled water was astounding. Early morning paddle boards are easy in this area the water is like glass in the morning. Such a breathtaking spot!!
